Once we got to the garage, another pair of security guards were waiting for us. They led us to a black SUV, and opened the door for me to get in to the back.

"Is everything alright, Ms. King?" Edward asked, in an emotionless tone. I nodded as I put my seat belt on, even though I was lying.

Nothing was alright. It had been a long morning, a very long morning. I almost got fired twice, and my face was plastered on every gossip blog and TV show in California for now. Running away to Tennessee wasn't going to make anything better. I just hope that Darcy knows what she's doing, and by the time I get back my name will only be remembered as the millionaire's publicist's.

The two security guards sat next to me, one on each side, then shut the door. I was squished in between their muscular arms, but I couldn't complain. I had a feeling they didn't want to be here either. The windows were so tinted I could barely see outside of them, which was a good thing I guess. If I could barely see out, no one could possibly see in.

We pulled out of the garage and into the busy L.A. street. No one said a word, which made the situation no better.

Fortunately, there weren't as many paparazzi as there were an hour ago, but some still lingered. They tried to snap photos, with each of them climbing over each other.

"Keep your head down, Miss." The guard to my left told me. I did as he instructed. All I could see from the corner of my eye was white flashes of light, and all I could hear was inaudible screaming.

After a couple of minutes, I lifted my head as we sped down the street, leaving the paparazzi away from us. Edward began speaking. "You will pack as many clothes as you can, as well as toiletries, business necessities, anything you may find useful. Right now it is 1:45, so we will pick you up at 3:45."

"Fair enough." I replied.

"When you arrive at the airport we will further explain the situation and what will go on from there."

I nodded, not wanting to speak at the moment. I just wanted to lay down and take a long ass nap, but that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

I looked for the spare key under the door mat, then entered my apartment. Beth and Paul were no where to be found, so I decided to start packing until they arrived. I kicked off my heels and ran to my room, which I always keep clean and spotless, and opened my drawers. I then went into the closet and pulled out a duffel bag, a suitcase and a small carry on bag.

I opened the duffel bag and threw in my undergarments first. Bra's, underwear, a couple pairs of socks even though I wouldn't need them; I always wear high heels, so on a rare occasion I may need to have socks in hand.

After wards, I packed sleeping clothes. I didn't want to spend most of my time searching for the right clothes to wear, so I stuffed more than half of the drawer labeled "sleeping garments" into the duffel bag.

My everyday clothes went into the suitcase, which consisted of my business attire of dresses and skirts. I found some jeans and sweats, along with loose fitting shirts, as well as fitting shirts, and put them in there too. Lastly, I grabbed a couple pairs of heels, a pair of sandals and converse, which I rarely wear, and stuffed them inside. I stood back and examined the two duffel bags, filled to the rim. I sighed contently, knowing I only had toiletries left to pack. I went into me and Beth's small modern kitchen and reached into the cabinet for a freezer bag. I had a weird thing about germs, so my toothbrush would be living in this bag isolated from everything else.

I ran into the bathroom and grabbed my makeup bag, with my brush, comb, some hair ties, deodorant, my tidy nail kit and my small jewelery box.

Once they were all in the duffel bag, I used all of my strength to zip the bag closed. As I was jumping on top of the bag in order for it to close, I heard a rapid knock at the door.

I walked to the door and opened it, to find Beth and Paul standing there happily.

"What the hell is going on, Les?" Beth asked as she kicked off her heels. Paul set his bag on the table and sat on the couch, waiting for me to respond.

"It's a very long story, guys. Sit." Beth looked at me with a worried expression before sitting on the couch next to Paul. I checked my watch; it was currently 2:05, so I had plenty of time to tell them about the chaos this morning.

By the time I finished explaining to them why I was packing, and why I asked them to leave early, their current emotion was the complete opposite from mine:

Excitement.

"Les, three months with him? Are you serious, this shit is gold! You're so lucky..." Beth sighed.

"No, I'm not. You know how many promotional balls and meetings we have to do while we're out there? We will be flying every week, plus, this is strictly business."

"Business, shmissness. This is literally the best opportunity any girl could wish for. I wonder what his brothers are like-"

"Gorgeous!" Paul yelled. He pulled out his phone and was typing on it for a while before showing us a photo of the Harrison family.

"From what I remember, the girl on the left is Isabella, you see the cute brunette with the short hair cut? And next to her is Elizabeth." I stared in awe. They were gorgeous, beyond gorgeous even. Isabella's short bob complimented her innocent facial features beautifully, and her dark yet subtle eye make up made her blue eyes stand out tremendously.

Elizabeth showed more of an athletic body shape rather than a voluptuous one, like her sister. She stood at least four inches taller than Isabella. Her light brown curls were pinned up into a messy bun that no woman I knew could execute as perfectly as her.

Sebastian stood behind Elizabeth and Isabella, with his two brothers on each side.

"The dirty blonde one, on Sebastian's right is Patrick. He's the oldest." Paul said. As usual, the Harrison child was cover model status. His dirty blonde hair was combed neatly to the side, and his smile showed two perfect rows of pearly white teeth.

My attention slowly drew away from Patrick and onto the man standing on Sebastian's left. I pointed to him on Paul's phone. "Um, who's that again?" I asked.

"Him? That's William. The second oldest."

Dear God in heaven.

Even though all three of the boys were extremely attractive, William stood out the most to me. Unlike his brothers, soft black curls were nestled on top of his head, with one perfect curl hanging down, stopping just below his perfect set of eyebrows. He had his fathers emerald eyes, but the contrast between them and his black hair was unbelievable. His smile could compete with Patrick's, which was saying a lot considering his was flawless. William stood about two inches taller than Sebastian, making him an entire foot taller than me.

I could have sworn I was drooling.

"Jesus Christ, it's hard to choose one brother! I'm so jealous of you Leslie!" Beth said. I snapped out of my trance to reply.

"No need, this is strictly business. I'm doing my job."

"If your job was swooning over big Will right there, girl you would have gotten a promotion already." Paul said, smiling deviously. I felt my face getting hot with embarrassment.

"As if. If Sebastian's siblings are anything like him, I don't want anything to do with them. I already have to deal with one Harrison and I could barely do that for a couple of hours. The day he visits I'm labeled as some sort of whore."

"No you're not. They just think that...you know...you were having a very friendly interaction with him."

"Gee, thanks for making me feel better Paul." He laughed as I threw a pillow at him from the couch.

"Anyway, Les. I think we should all share a goodbye drink before you go." Beth said.

"Oh! Yes!" Paul yelled. They both jot up towards the kitchen and opened the top cabinet that contained our alcohol.

"No, no I'm not drinking." I replied, which was no use since they were engrossed in a conversation about what drink they should grab. I rolled my eyes.

As they were in the kitchen, I reached for Paul's phone which was still on the photo of the Harrison kids, and couldn't help myself from staring at William once again.

The time was 2:45, but it had felt like we were only talking for mere minutes. Beth had decided that she wanted to enjoy something hard, and Vodka happened to be the first drink she spotted in the cabinet. I took a sip of the over bearing drink and decided that I wouldn't have anymore enter my body, no matter how much Beth insisted."C'mon, Les! Just one more drink." She pleaded. She was obviously entering the beginning stages of intoxication, for she could barely keep her balance sitting down. Paul downed a small glass of Vodka with one tip like a pro. Sure, he did cough a few times when he successfully swallowed the drink, but he managed to keep it down. He reached for the bottle and poured himself another glass, spilling the Vodka all over the table."Le-les. Just live 'little. Just one drink." Paul gurgled. He paused after every word to gather the right ones to say.I went into the kitchen and grabbed an old rag from under the s

I heard someone stepping into the jet, being none other than Sarah the bitch. She rolled her eyes when she saw me."Not here for a cat fight," I started, "I just want to see what's going on, that's all.""Well we're in agreement in something, this shit is fucking crazy." She replied. She leaned over the leather seat next to the one I was on and looked out the window. We could hear their conversation perfectly."I wanted to surprise you, sweetheart." Fiona said. Sebastian took off his shades to examine his mother more prominently. Eric stood by the SUV, while Lucas stood by the stairs to the jet, not wanting to be in the cross fire. Edward, however, stood by Fiona, still in shock he was blindsided."Surprise me with what?" Sebastian asked."Well, with you taking over the company and all. I didn't know you would have to go through some cleansing process to do it. I guess it's for the best, I've been v

20 minutes later we were in the air. The sun was beginning to set while we ascended into the clouds, so we would be flying in the dark soon."Can I get you anything, Miss. King?" A flight attendant asked. She was an older woman, about a decade older than me but still looked prettier than me.As always."Um, yes I would like some champagne." I replied. She smiled. She turned to Sarah, who was gazing out the window at the clouds"And you, Miss. Gonzales?""Um, no I'm OK." She said. The flight attendant nodded her head and made her way down the cabin."You know it's not wise to drink on the job, Miss. King." Sebastian said in a flat tone, typing on his laptop.I rolled my eyes."He's a piece of work, isn't he? Took him a month to get used to me when Garret hired me." Sarah whispered.I looked at her surprised. Was she

After saving the document, I contemplated staying here with Sebastian or going back to sit with Fiona and Sarah. Lucas had awoken a few seconds before, but was still in a daze. He looked around the jet, confused."Oh, hey Leslie. Hello Mr. Harrison. I'm sorry, how long have I been sleep?""About an hour I think." Sebastian answered.Lucas sighed and stretched. I figured since he was awake it gave me the right away to go back to my seat since I wasn't needed to keep him company anymore, but something inside of me wanted to stay, to find out more about Sebastian. Even though it was no surprise seeing him in a magazine almost every month, I felt like there was more mystery behind Sebastian that he wanted to keep hidden. The flight attendant made her way to where we sat. "Dinner will be served in twenty minutes." She said. I looked out the window. The sun had complete disappeared and the moon was hidden behind the cloud

As the flight attendant gave us our options for dinner, I was eager to hear what Fiona was going to say. In all honesty, it was hypocritical to say that Sebastian was going to be bias about everything, considering she was divorced, and a bitoverenthusiasticabout most things. Still, I was going to be open minded about whatever she had to say, and maybe later on get Sebastian's opinion on his Mommy and Daddy issues. Ten minutes later, we had four plates of traditional steak and potatoes set in front of us. Since none of us obviously felt like being a little original, we all got the same thing. Dinner remained untouched for a few minutes. We just sat there, looking at each other. Fiona looked as if she was eager yet hesitant on telling me her family business. Lucas exchanged looks with everyone before picking up his

I thought the fact that they stayed at fancy hotels and flew in private jets was enough. The manor was huge. I have stayed at big houses before for promotional trips and such but this house was unnecessarily big. A giant water fountain sat in the middle of a gravel driveway that let to a set of long stairs. The porch portrayed a classic country farm home, but the four thirty feet pillars that held the house up said otherwise. The manor was a good three stories. The dark of the night made it hard for me to see the design of the manor, but from what I could gather it had Victorian elements on the balconies and on the various windows that were lined across. The giant two front doors were wide open. The only people who were outside were me, Sarah and Sebastian, who was standing on the p

I didn't know how to make this less awkward than it already was. My head was hurting in every possible place, and I still didn't have my morning coffee. It was the fact that I was caught with Sebastian's brother that made this more of a terrible situation than it already was. I cleared my throat and stressed my assertiveness. "Thank you, but my head is fine, William. I am going to go make coffee now..." With that, I turned around, closed the cabinet door and walked over to the coffee maker. Maria knew I didn't know how to use this contraption, since this was a high end coffeemaker from Keurig. I crossed my arms and stood back as Maria set it up. As I waited, I felt three sets of eyes staring at me. "Well, I'm starving." Sarah said, interrupting the silence. "Breakfast is all set up

I finished my breakfast, looking around the table at everyone else. Everyone was part of their little conversations except for me and Lucas, who was too focused on cutting his apple. William was talking to Patrick across the table, Sebastian with Isabelle, and Elizabeth with Sarah and Fiona. I sat in the middle, listening to them talking over me about Leonardo DiCaprio and how he hasn't won an Oscar yet. I didn't fit. I was the complete opposite of everyone here. I didn't enjoy talking to people, or socializing much unless it was vital. I'd rather be answering emails or talking to Beth or Paul, the only people I could act as myself around. I felt my heart accelerate, and knew it would be best if I took a long bath, and call Beth for some best friend guidance. I just had to figure out how to get up without being rude. I slowly pulled m

** I fucked up. I had never felt so much regret in my entire life. One part of me wanted to hit Sebastian for making everything more complicated, then the other wanted to just kill myself for ruining everything. Here was this man, this man I was in denial about having feelings for, confess his love to me and all I say is "No." No. Why wasn't I running after him though? If I really cared, why was I still standing here, dumb founded. I slumped back in my seat and rested my head in my hands. I was an idiot, and frankly mending this was going to be harder than I thought. My complicated persona just ruined more lives than one, it had seemed. What if he fired me, now? Fired someone else out of anger? What if we could never have the same relationship again? I tried my best to choke down a sob. The sound of the door opening halted my thoughts. My spirits were raised as I thought the person entering the room was Sebastian, yet it wasn't who I expected.

It was the weirdest thing. I had never been so pissed off in my entire life. Over what? Something so petty? How could I let the ginger bitch get under my skin like that? Enough for me to go confront Sebastian myself?Sarah followed me to the ballroom, and knew exactly what I was going to do once she saw the direction I was heading in."I'm...gonna go get another drink with Lucas. Let me know if a bitch needs slappin'."I nodded, watching her walk back to the bar.I exhaled deeply before tapping Sebastian on his shoulder, halting his conversation with someone I didn't recognize."Sebastian, I need to talk to you. "Honestly, this dress makes me look like a fucking idiot." Sarah complained, tugging on the edges as we descended in the elevator. I laughed as the doors opened "You know what that reminds me of?" I said. "What?" "When you and Sebastian first came to Harrison inc and he was complaining about his suit." Sarah thought for a moment before laughing "Oh yeah I remember!" She cleared her throat to be able to imitate Sebastian's masculine voice "I feel stupid in this fucking suit" She mocked. Sarah and I both giggled at the memory. As the elevator doors opened, we walked farther into the lobby to meet up with the two security guards,

My first thought was to push him away, but after a few moments I found myself enjoying the moment even more than he was. His lips were...soft, and warm. Like his hands but of course they didn't feel the same in that way. It was so unexpected that when he did kiss me I froze. It took me a while before...I actually kissed him back. Honestly, there are no words that can actually describe how it felt. It just felt good. The way he held my face in his hands, the way he smelled; like Irish Spring. Hell it felt even more than good it felt amazing. I had never felt a kiss that could compare. Is this what I've been missing out on this entire time?I thought to myself. Then it felt cold again. "I want to go to New York...tomorrow."I brought my attention from my laptop onto Sebastian, who was leaning on the desk I was seated at.It had been a week since he had left the hospital, and a week since the Harrison's had sorted everything out. It was a breath of fresh air to see everyone getting along. Past grudges were left in the past, and it had felt like the family was new. Garret had gone back to L.A., which reminded us that we only had mere weeks until Sebastian was the CEO.I sat back in my chair and chuckled "Um, tomorrow? That's a little soon; we have it planned a week in advance-"He suddenly pulled a paper from behind his back and slammed it on the desk. He pointed to the title "Skate for a Cause" printed in wh

"Leslie, you're like a...a lifesaver!" Beth said. I laughed, knowing of her over the top nature. I was in the hospital hallway, talking to Beth via cell. She called me asking about Sebastian since Fiona told Aunt Penelope about Sebastian and in turn, told Leonardo. I told her everything, from the fight at the manor to Rachael crying on his shoulder. Beth was more than interested at the story, and even almost cried a few times. "Well, I'm just glad you guys are alright. Such a relief. But in my opinion, I think that they should settle their problems. I mean, their family is over the rocks, now." I sighed. She had a point. They did need to sit down and talk, but I knew Sebastian wouldn't have it. I glanced down the hallway and watched Sebastian pushing Rachael in the wheel chair. The

Lucas and William dragged Sebastian down the stairs to gain access to the back door that led to the alley. Everyone we passed stopped dancing or socializing to look at Sebastian. There was no doubt that this would be news in the next couple of hours. Sam, our driver, was waiting in the alley once we got outside. Sebastian was sweating bullets even though it was at least fifty degrees outside, and his eyes remained closed. "Leslie, sit in the middle row with me so you can support his head." William told me. I didn't question as I got in the car. William sat in the middle, dragging Sebastian in and laying him across us. "Take us to the hospital, Sam!" William yelled. Sam quickly put the car in reverse and backed out of the alley int

He replied, not even making eye contact with me. I sighed in defeat. Lucas was about a foot taller than me, so there was no way I could get him out of my bed. I walked as fast as my heels would allow me to the living room. The information this seven year old just fed me was too much to handle, and I needed to talk to Sarah about it. Since we both worked for the Harrison's she would know how to handle this."Why are you walking so fast, Leslie?" Rachael asked as she tightened her grip around my hand."Um, nothing I just don't want to miss everyone leaving." I looked at my watch; 5:35 already. Where did the time go? No matter, all that mattered was getting Rachael out of my company before I lost my patience. Unfortunately I didn't have my stress ball in handy to calm my nerves, so I had to get Rachael to Ulysses to settle this.I didn't know why I was so angry.
