The Third Person’s POV
Cena walked up to the proprietor's office with his hands clasped behind him. He felt a pang of guilt inside of him for telling Amaya about the hidden secrets between him, and the school proprietor. However, he counterattacked his conscience with the fact that Amaya eavesdropped on their conversation, allowing her to get a clue about it. He would have been shit in her front if he had failed to tell her who Nikki was.He got to the front of the office, and stood there for some seconds, trying to maintain his exterior. As he knocked, the door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit room adorned with ancient artifacts and the faint glow of a desk lamp. The proprietor looked up as he entered."Oh, you are here!" The proprietor murmured, his voice a low rumble, yet, distinct in ears. Cena nodded, his keen eyes studying the mysterious figure before him. "You called for me," he stated, his voice a gravelly growl."Yes," The proprietor responded,"Thank you, Amaya, for saving me!" Cena said, still looking into my eyes."You are welcome, Cena, who are those you have offended?" I asked him as he grunted in pain.He shook his head, and said, "I don't know, Amaya!" I took a glance at his injured stomach, and my memory flashed back to the prison guard that was killed a few days ago. The gash on Cena's stomach was the same as that of the dead prison guard. The killer of the prison guard must be the one that gash through Cena's stomach, and the person that sent them knew about the death of the prison guard."Don't you think about the gash on your belly?" I asked Cena, his eyes widened, and stared at his belly one more time, but now with clear and examining eyes."The prison guard," he muttered, spared me a glance, and continued, "This mark was the same mark on the late prison guard's body. Who could these people be?" Cena added, lost in thought.I hung my hand over Cena's shoulder and motioned him to my mot
The Third Person’s POVAmaya slowly regained her consciousness. However, the gratin sounds of distant arguments reached her ears, and as her senses sharpened, she realized that her parents-Alex and Florida-were engaged in a heated moment."If anything happens to my daughter, you are doomed, Alex!" Florida's voice resounded with anger."How dare you shout at me?" Alex's response carried power and his tone was defensive. As Amaya struggled to sit up on the bed, the world around her seemed to rotate like a pendulum. The argument between her parents blossomed, each word contrasting starkly with the attack. "You brought danger to our doorstep, and now Amaya has paid the price. I won't let this happen again," Florida said, her eyes ablaze with fury."I am doing what I think is necessary to protect our family. These people from our past won't stop until they get what they want," Alex responded with a bold voice, his expression a mixture of regret
It was on the sports day, the next phase of the ongoing competition. My father had warned me not to partake in the competition, and I had agreed with him. Though my mom, Florida, wanted me to partake in it, I would not partake in it.The students were anticipating my coming as they were calling my name, hailing me, and expecting me to jump over to the school field, and represent the school, but I was not ready for anything like that.I was sipping my hot tea when my mom walked into my room aggressively. "Amaya, what the hell are you still doing here?" She blew hot. I dropped my tea on the floor and responded in a calm, but unwavering sound"Mom, I told you I am not going to partake in that competition. Can't you just get this straight?""Don't tell me you have started listening to your father, Amaya. He would destroy you. He doesn't like you!" My mum said, holding me by my shoulder."Mum, are you choosing the school proprietor over my dad? The school proprietor is also chasing after th
"You want to fight, Amaya? Try your best, bitch. I will tie one of my hands backward, and one of my eyes close, and I promise to defeat you." Nikki dared me, the onlookers flung subtle jibes at me.I turned deaf ears to her threat and turned to leave, but she pulled me by my shirt again. "Don't be a coward, Amaya. Common fight!"I didn't know where the boldness came from but I was tempted to slap her chubby cheeks. The cheerful aura suddenly became silent over my action.Nikki frowned at her face, ready to kick my face when my mum showed up. "How dare you touch my daughter, Nikki?"Nikki's angered face became calm as my mum showed up. "Let her fight herself, Florida!" Nikki said."My daughter is not a fighter, bastard. Next time you try this, I will make here a hell for you!" My mum said."You shouldn't interfere with their matters, Florida. Stop being biased. Your daughter tackles first!" The proprietor said as he got to us."No! You are wicked, Mr. Proprietor. My daughter has been t
Latina walked away, pulling Jeremy alongside with her while I froze in place, and ponder on his words. Was it true that Nikki could recognize Latina, but not me? If yes, what could be the fine relationship between them? Is it that Latina knew her after she might have lost her memory?I looked at Latina and Jeremy as they walked away into the school environment, and I moved up to my father in his territory. He was having a meeting with a white-bearded man, and I stood still by the door when I heard my name from the inner room."Amaya seems to be less powerful, Alex. I could see fear in her eyes when Nikki confronted her on the school field," The white-bearded man said, furrowing his brows."Amaya is truly scared of Nikki, but I think I need to make her stronger and bold. With Nikki by the proprietor's side, we will be defeated merely by her fire abilities!" My father responded to him and sighed worrisomely.Who is this white-bearded man? His face looked so familiar to me, but I could n
It was in the morning, the students were on the school field training for the next phase of the competition when I walked up to the school field. The proprietor was on the field too having some discussion with Nikki. As I walked by, murmurs from the students followed me like flies. Some were pointing hands at me in a taunt, while the majority were mocking me for losing my fame for Nikki. But then, I turned deaf ears to their taunts and headed up to Jeremy, who was now teaching some young girls how to flip."Hey, Jeremy!" I called his name. He chuckled and left the girls for me. "Some minutes, please!" He stated."Hi, Amaya! Just got information about Nikki. She must have lost her memory some years ago." Jeremy broke out vividly with full energy."What gave you such assurance, Jeremy?" I asked him looking at him through the lashes. Jeremy signaled at a girl among those whom he was training, and the girl walked forward with her hand clasped behind."That's Billie. She is the proprietor'
"Oh, yes, it's, Jeremy. All your lies would not make her love you, alright? I made her discover her abilities," Cena rose from the bed and said.Jeremy scoffed, and responded, "Amaya is right, Cena. Nikki belongs to Alpha Alex but her memory was lost along the way."We began to deliberate on the matter, and later my mother and Cena agreed that Nikki was the biological daughter of my father, but she strangely lost her memory. As we talked, Jeremy's gaze was on Cena's wound. He stole some gazes to draw my attention to it, and I immediately followed his eyes to the area where Cena was wounded. That was the same kind of wound on the prison guard's body. And it looked like the handwork of the white-bearded man I saw in my father's territory some days ago."Cena, we need you to help us find some clues about the proprietor. That man might be evil!" Jeremy said to Cena. Cena rolled his eyes disgustingly at him."I am not in for that!" Cena interjected."Cena, you need to help us. Let us work
"I couldn't catch the white-bearded man, Jeremy," I struggled to say restlessly."Fuck!" Jeremy sighed, resting his jaw on his hand."I was attacked by Nikki!" I pronounced it, looking so battered."Nikki? How come you fought her?" Jeremy asked looking into my eyes."Never mind!" I said to him as I tried to brainstorm who that guy was. He seemed to be out of this world. We left the party back to our residence. I kept pondering the words of the guy on the mask. He said I should not forget my roots, and I was big time confused about what he meant. The guy has the best precision ever and seems to defeat Nikki.Jeremy and I were in my father's territory to give him feedback about our conclusion. We had made up our minds to fight alongside him, but Jeremy still insisted on taking revenge someday."So are you now ready to join me?" My father asked Jeremy who was leaning against the wall with hands in his pocket.Jeremy kept quiet for what seemed like minutes, and responded, "I will only fig
