Eric's POV

"Mr Wilson, you've been invited to the annual dinner for the Wembleys," Tristan informed me while I sat lazily behind my desk.

I had my head in my hands, and a lot of things flew around my mind at a million thoughts per second.

It had been almost two months since I last went home, and my wedding with Lola was drawing closer and closer.

Personally, I was glad at her suggestion to take it slowly to plan the grandest wedding ever in history.

Perhaps, I was hoping for a miracle to happen, which would lead to me never meeting Lola in the first instance.

I sighed and tugged at my tie.

"I know, Tristan. Tell them I might not be able to make it this year."

Honestly, I was in no mood for that party. It would definitely be an opportunity for the nosey press to be all in my business, and I was in no mood for their shenanigans.
