Chapter 63

As she stared into the reflection of the mirror, she gasped at the sight. She looked as dead as a doornail. Her face looked so pastel and she had dark bugs under her eyes. It was not her fault though, she had to prepare herself for the interview tomorrow, she couldn't just let a job opportunity as big as this one slip through her fingers.

Tomorrow will be one of her greatest days and one of the most dire ones too. It's going to be as elusive as a dream. Deep within her heart, she was filled with blithe and to be candid, she couldn't wait to step foot in the company.

Her father had always complimented about her life in school and to be direct, praised her for her ingeniousness. She herself cannot accumulate the number of times she had dropped first in class but can recall falling third once, but even so, it was the cause of her illness and short break from school.

She neatly ironed her apparel for tomorrow and brought out some brand new shoes she had set her eyes on when she went shop
