“Why?” His cold voice asked.

Kimberlee slowly dropped her purse. “Why are we here? Why did you bring me here!?” She asked, feeling her anger build up.

“You still wanna play dumb?” He scoffed. “You know exactly what you have to tell me.”

“Well you see, the problem is, I don't have anything to tell you.” She sternly said. “I don't see the point of all these when I already made it clear that I don't wanna have anything to do with you again.”

“When you're done blabbing, do tell me if you're pregnant or not.” He simply said, picking up the bottle instead.

“Are you carrying my baby or not!?” He snapped.

Kimberlee froze.

He knew.

Her heart literally stopped beating for some seconds and when it resumed, it felt distant and hot.

She took a step back.

He found the envelope. He did and she knew he already knew.

But then, why was he acting so offended? She owes him nothing.
