Ana sat in her cell. The lighting in it was horrible and she could barely see a foot in front of her face. That might be a benefit. She feared she didn’t want to know the state of the cells or if she had furry companions. A shudder ran through her body at the thought of the mess rats and mice leave behind. She knew she must overcome this and accept it because she didn’t know how long she’d be locked away down there. This wasn’t easy. He had to do it during the day when there were fewer prying eyes. The gossipmongers were out in full force at the moment. The truth is, he had to wait three days to catch a break and bribe the mage portal manager to allow him to use it to send a package to a site the dragon shifters gave him.
