Chapter Forty six•
"You won't condemn me?" Leo asked her and she shook her head. "No but though I would have preferred you handed them over to the cops." Kylie said.
He nodded. "But the cops waste too much time." He said and groaned.
Kylie laughed. He stood up to his feet.
"May I be excused for a while?" He asked her with a smile.
"Sure." She said and watched him walk away.
She decided to lean back in her bench and reel on what he just told her when she saw someone who looked like Rex.
"Rex?" She muttered to herself and got to her feet. Her heart pounding. What if her eyes were betraying her and he wasn't the one?
Curiously she walked towards where she had seen him but found no one there.
"What's wrong with me?" She asked herself out loud. "Just moments ago,I was so glued to Leo's intriguing story and now I'm imagining that Rex is here." She said slapping her forehead.

The next morning, Kylie met Leo still asleep on the couch. Last night,he had left the room all to her and went to sleep on the couch. Leo was seated in the meeting room watching his staffs go on and on about a latest model. He was there with them but his mind wasn't. He was barely listening.
