DAYO SLID OUT of his Lexus, and thumbed the lock button on the remote key.
There was something delighting about the hostel. Is it because most of the biggest girls in Unilag lived there or was it just the lush greenery of the garden?
Whichever. Palmers hall was the 'it' place where guys could get correct babes.
He quickly dialed Janet's number to tell her that he was downstairs, not wanting to risk being seen by his past flings. There were at least two dozens of them at Palmers hall.
"Hello," she answered.
"Hey, are you ready? I'm downstairs," he asked.
"Great. I'll be down in five," she said, her voice sultry.
"Alright. Five minutes," he repeated, dragging the phone from his ear.
No doubt she was still doing her makeup. Dayo had even arrived thirty minutes late because he knew she wasn't one to keep to time.
Dayo leaned against his car, his dark BVLGARI sunglasses shielding his eyes from the harsh sun rays. The sun was still too bright and unaffected at six in the evening.
After ten minutes have passed, he retrieved his phone from his pocket to dial Janet's number again. And it was then that he heard someone calling him. He turned around.
Onome Agbor.
The chick had been in one of his JAMB tutorials in high school. She used to be friends with him and some other guys in the tutorial center. They had both gained admission into Unilag to study Literature in English.
Although she was a pretty Igbo girl, Dayo was not really into her. He only saw her as a friend and he very well knew that she wanted to be more than just friends.
"What's up?" she asked, walking towards him. Onome was slender and tall but not too bad to look at. She wore glasses, the kind that suggested a bookish individual.
The rimmed glasses was resting on the tip of her sharp pointed nose, and the eyes behind it twinkled as she smiled at him.
"Efiko(bookworm), I really haven't seen you in a while oo. I missed you," he said honestly.
She hugged him briefly and he caught the sweet scent of laundry detergent on her red dress shirt.
Onome grinned. "Maybe that's because you haven't showed up for lectures since Tuesday."
Dayo removed his sunglasses. "I've been quite busy lately. Is that Fareedah and Lara?" he asked, nodding towards the garden.
"Yeah, Come say hi to them. I'm sure they missed you too," she said, grabbing his arm.
Dayo followed her willingly, maybe he could pass some time with them before Janet arrives.
"Ade Banks. So you still dey this planet?" Lara joked, slapping his arm in a playful manner.
Omolara and Fareedah were also his friends since they were also friends with Onome and he remembered frequenting their room during his 100 level days.
"Sannu(Hello), Fareedah." Dayo greeted, smiling charmingly at the fulani girl.
Fareedah bestowed him with a smile. "Kana Lafiya?(How are you?)" she asked. If she hadn't been a devoted Muslim girl and one of his few female friends, Dayo would totally bang her.
"I'm good. You." Dayo himself had picked up a Hausa phrase or two simply from being around the girl.
"You guys won't believe that baba porter has eaten the other ice cream I asked him to keep for me inside their fridge." A girl said, holding a big tub of FANICE ice cream.
Dayo could swear that he had seen her before, for she looked strangely familiar. He just couldn't remember where he had seen her, perhaps she was one of the many girls he had screwed. Or not?
The first thing he noticed were sexy legs, and he couldn't stop himself from imagining them wrapped around his waist as he pumped into her.
Damn!
Firm breasts unsupported by nothing but a white crocheted halter top. A small bead of sweat trickled down the V-neck of her top and disappeared into her cleavage.
She wore a chiffon kimono over her blue denim shorts. Faux locs adorned with cowries and gold ring cuffs framed her pretty face. The girl had a body that could bring any man down on his knees.
But lucky for him, he has had better.
Has he wronged her before? Because he couldn't explain why she was staring daggers at him.
"Eniola, this is my friend Dayo. Dayo this is our new roommate Eniola Craig." Onome introduced.
He flashed his charismatic boyish grin. "Pleasure to meet you."
Truly, it was his pleasure because he had visions of bending her over the snooker table in his living room that he rarely used.
She eyed him up and down. "I'm afraid I can't say the same to you."
Dayo wondered why she hated him. "Any relations to Prof. Ajayi Craig?" he asked.
Eniola grimaced. "Any reason you are asking me that?"
Lara laughed at their exchange. "Don't mind her jare. Yes, her dad is Professor Ajayi," she said.
Oh shit! Eniola was the girl that claimed he had splashed her with his car on Monday. He didn't know she was in the same department as him, and he also didn't know that she was Prof.Ajayi's daughter. But damn, he had no idea she had a body like this.
It was obvious that the girl didn't like him, but nothing a Peruvian wig can't fix.
"Dayo." Janet called, strutting towards him in a red dress with a plunging neckline.
The red dress hugged her well-endowed body. Janet Wilcox had big breasts, thick thighs and a well rounded ass; a delicious combo.
"Sexy," he whispered in her ear when she joined them in the garden.
Dayo didn't miss the disgusted look on Eniola's face. Don't worry pretty thing, you're the next one on the list.
He placed his hands on Janet's waist. "We have to go. I'll see you girls on Monday a'ight."
Dayo being the gentleman that he is, held the door open for Janet. He closed the door once she settled into the plush seat and went around to the other side of his car.
He saw Eniola sneering as he expertly reversed the car out of the building.
"Ciao, pretty little thing," Dayo grinned devilishly.
THE LECTURE ROOM was filled with multiple sources of noise. Students were shouting, various ringing tone popped from each corner , doors slamming as people came in and out of the class.Snack wrappers, rotten corn cobs, and fresh orange peels lay strewn about like dead leaves. A cloud of flies gathered around the filthy crumbs of leftover puff-puff. The squeaking ceiling fan circled lazily and stirred the putrid smell across the congested room. There was a dustbin right by the entrance of the class and Eniola wondered why her classmates prefer to liter the floor. Not even a tinge of pity on their faces as the old mama cleaner bent her unyielding back to clean their mess. The class rep, Esohe, was reading something out to the class from the freshly printed paper in her hands. Her tiny voice drowned by the loud chatter that traveled around the 200seater lecture room. It's just a battle of words, nobody listening - everyone talking. The noise was ear-crippling that
DAYO HAD DRIVEN to Ikoyi to visit his favorite tracks, The Chase Race Track. He loved the smell of the tracks, the speed and the rush of adrenaline that always seem to cure his numbness. The tracks was what kept him sane.Dayo yelled in victory as his orange turbo viper shot past the finish line. The crowd went crazy as the other race cars flashed across the finish line. He'd won. Again.Dayo climbed out of his car and was quickly surrounded by his friends and some sexy girls they brought to the tracks.Omah returned with an unopened bottle of champagne, "I told you he was going to beat that motherfucker! Abi I no talk am? (Or didn't I say so?)," he shouted. He popped the cork, causing the champagne to spill over. The girls giggled as he poured each of them a glass.King, the owner of the racing tracks approached them. "I have to get you racing again so I can make some money off your ass,"he grinned."You could make a cou
THE SUN WAS sinking low, embracing the snowy white clouds that lazily spreads across the sky. The sky was ablaze with swirling shades of orange and pink, as if someone had smeared burning flames across the twilight.Traffic hawkers thrusting their goods into moving cars, bus touts harassing a danfo drivers for not paying their due, fake cure-all vendors yelling, beggars soliciting the charity of bus passengers.A slight breeze blew the odor of stale sweat, salvaged by the smell of cheap perfume mingled with exotic colognes.Few yards away, a grungy old man in tattered clothes scowls, then a smile suddenly spreads on his lips. His demented smile bared uneven brown teeth stained by years of stale tobacco smoke.A little girl of about six ran alongside a rickety Toyota Corolla, balancing a tray of oranges on her tiny head.Eniola stopped to buy some roasted corn from the one roadside vendors. "Ekasan ma (Good day ma), how much is this one?" Enio
THE RAIN LASHED hard against the roof, thunder crashed and the shadow of a lightning flashed across the room. The weather was perfect for cuddling and further naughty stuffs.Rain, champagne, beautiful girl. Could it get any better?Patricia Eze was by far the prettiest girl in the department of computer engineering. She had her fair share of toasters and most of the girls in her class were really envious of her. She had light skin that glowed like the sunrise, and her body was molded to perfection, with curves in all the right places.Patricia moaned into his mouth, as Dayo's hands disappeared under her red silky blouse, pushing her bra up and cupping one of her breast.Dayo felt a sting of pain when her acrylic nails dug into his bare back. Groaning, he pinned her hands above her head and kept a firm grip.Throaty moans filled the room as his hands skimmed the soft flesh of her thighs. She lifted her hips to meet his, making him
THERE WAS A profound silence in the room. It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop on the tile.Eniola leaned forward in her seat, her full attention on the flat screen hanging from the wall opposite her. She tensed as the referee brought the whistle to his lips. The goalkeeper crouched in a ready position, bracing himself for the penalty kick. Lionel Messi pretended to kick the ball to the left side, causing the goalkeeper to hesitate long enough for him to kick the ball to the right side of the net.The ball whizzed past him and smashed into the net."Goal ball !" Folarin screamed, jumping off the chair.Eniola clapped. "WE DID IT! Up Barcelona!" she said, jumping up and down while hugging her brother.Daniel's face twisted with annoyance at the loss of his team. "Ode ni keeper yen(The goalkeeper is a fool)," he yelled, cursing at the goalkeeper.Folarin smacked his back. "Guy, no blame am nah. I knew y
DAYO HAD JUST finished watching a match at Blue Ocean with his friends and was returning home. His car was running out of fuel and he had only stopped to fill his tank when he saw Eniola."Hey. Need a lift?" he asked.Eniola hugged her soaked clothes tighter around her body. "No thank you."Dayo swept his gaze over her body. She was standing in the rain shivering and her teeth clattering and she was still as stubborn as hell.He wouldn't get into his car if it was him too, considering how big of a jerk he had been to her yesterday. Dayo couldn't believe how angry she had made him. He had never lost control of his emotions, not even when he had found out that Tina was cheating on him. Annoyed? Definitely. But never angry.Dayo groaned. "C'mon, Eniola. You are going to catch a cold, besides there are no buses here. So you don't really have a choice.""I'm sure there are bikes around here somewhere. I'll manage, ehn," she said, turning ar
THE MOANS CEASED and the door opened, revealing Abbey in a blue boxer shorts. He was sweaty, shirtless and looked like he just ran a marathon."Omo,I'm so fucking hungry," he said, rubbing his hands on his flat stomach. He didn't seem to notice that she was in the room until he was a few steps from the kitchen, where he stopped abruptly and turned around. "Eniola?" he asked.Dayo answered him. "She's staying here for the night."Eniola smiled nervously. "Hi," she said, trying to keep her eyes from going any lower from his face. The guy was half naked!Abbey didn't seem embarrassed at all and only returned her smile. "Hey, I'm Abbey. I'm the nice guy," he winked, shaking her hands. The girl that had been screaming emerged from the room and folded her arms on her chest. "Ade Banks 'The Terminator," she hailed. She was standing in the doorway wearing a long white robe with a purple hair bonnet on her head."Jemima, what's up?
DAYO MADE HIS way back to his room carrying two mugs of steaming hot coffee. The bathroom door opened and Eniola slipped out sheepishly, hugging herself. She was wearing Dayo's shirt that reached all the way to her knees. The shirt drowned her, against the soft cotton her nipple stood erect and knowing that she was wearing only her panties under the T-shirt stirred his arousal. How could she look so damn sexy in only a white oversized T-shirt?She wasn't wearing a bra and he was painfully aware of it.Eniola cleared her throat and crossed her arms over her chest. "Thanks for the shirt," she said, smiling nervously.Dayo realized that she was feeling uncomfortable and looked away. He drew a deep breath, "Glad to be of help," he cursed under his breath as his voice came out husky."You read all these books? I didn't know you were into these kind of literature," she said, trying to ease the awkwardness as she walked over to his
ENIOLA HATED WHEN guys whistled to get her attention like she was a sex object of some sort, it was simply irritating. They let out a roar of wolf whistles followed by nasty comments about how they want to 'eat her work'."Look at those titties!" One guy wearing a camouflage shirt yelled to his friends."Just ignore them," Fareedah said, linking her arm with hers. Eniola nestled closer to the girls as the boys kept whistling at her.Eniola held her sandals in her hand, threading her feet through the crisp golden sand. Conscious of the hungry eyes on her, she adjusted her crocheted bikini top."Look, that's Jide coming." Lara smiled, tucking her phone back into her Louis Vuitton tote bag.Jide was walking towards them with Dayo, looking every inch the bad boy that he was. Eniola grew nervous as he weaved through the group of boys that had been whistling at her. She bit the inside of her cheek and looked away as she felt herself grow nerv
DAYO HANDED VICKY a red plastic cup and resumed his position behind her with his arms wrapped around her neck. A light breeze brings the fresh smell of the salty ocean mixed with the faint smell of barbecue smoke. The ocean tumbled violently in waves and people ran back at the sight of the approaching waves. Dim lights of stars and the moonlight create a glistening reflection on the ocean, giving it a shiny silver color. There was a DJ set up in one corner near the refreshment table. People were dancing, holding their red plastic cups in the air as they moved to the music. Goat meat roasted over searing hot fire in the distance."Come, Dayo. Let's dance," Vicky said. She pulled him to the crowd of people dancing in a distance and pressed herself against him.Dayo leaned into her as she pushed against him, grinding into him to the beat of the music. God he was turned on!Dayo met her a week ago at the night club and was very fortunate th
ENIOLA WINCED AS Fareedah worked a wooden comb through the thick strands of her hair until her scalp tingled. She was clamped between Fareedah's legs on the floor as she parted her hair from the forehead to the nape of her neck.Fareedah poured a tiny amount of coconut oil into her hands, rubbed them briskly together and massaged it over her hair.Lara waited till Onome left the room before she turned back to them. "Something is up with this babe oo," she stated.Eniola exhaled. "Abi she had a fight with Chidera? She was coming from her room that day, remember?""Onome went to the cinema with her yesterday, so I think they are cool." Fareedah explained, lifting a small section of hair and began braiding it tightly from the scalp."Maybe she has some personal issues she's dealing with," Lara shrugged."She doesn't even sit with me in class anymore." Eniola said, recalling the times she had tried to s
CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT, the club was crowded as usual. The club was a well-known spot among Lagos big boys and was packed with people from all over the base. Club Deluxe was located in one of the most exclusive areas in Victoria Island, overlooking the ocean. The crowd was hyped as usual, as they watched the strippers twirling around the poles. Men roared their approval and threw fresh one thousand Naira notes at them. Brandy, one of the strippers had the full attention of the crowd as she dropped her spaghetti strap top, big breasts bouncing. The crowd went crazy and men slipped more fresh notes into the string of her red thong. Some girls carried champagne bottles nestled deep into buckets of ice with gold sparklers, shooting out as high as twelve inches. Each of the bottles of champagne cost around seventy thousand or more."So, wetin happen?" Omah asked, leaning over on his seat. Dayo glared at Abbey who was laughing and smacked the back of his head.
THE UBER CAR pulled to a stop in front of Palmers hostel. Eniola showed him the receipt of the money she had transferred into the driver's account on her phone."Do you think I can get your number?" he asked, licking his lips. The last thing she needed was the Uber driver hitting on her. Not when she could still feel the imprint of Dayo's lips on hers."No," she said politely, pushing the door open. The car sped off leaving a mousy cloud of dust behind.Palmers hostel was bustling with activities like every other night. Guys sat on the hood of cars with girls in their arms, enjoying the cold air of the night. The palm trees gently swayed to the tune of the light breeze, mimicking the soothing melody of Beyoncé's Brown skin girl blaring through the stereo of a car.A man in his mid sixties was resting against a Hummer jeep, rearranging the folds of his white agbada. The man fiddled with the red coral beads around his wrists, waitin
DAYO SWORE UNDER his breath as Abbey walked into the room. "Dayo, wetin do you? You look fucked up," Abbey teased him.He glared at him. "Gerrout joor. You have the worst timing." Dayo strolled past him and returned to the living room.Eniola was clutching her red shoulder bag tightly across her chest. He noticed that she had tried to wipe her lips in a furious manner but anyone could tell that she had just been kissed. His eyes lingered on her cleavage - he was so damn close!Abbey's mouth quirked up as he took in her appearance. "Eni, what's up?" he smirked at her.Eniola forced a smile. "I'm fine, Abbey. Umm...I was just leaving," she said, biting on her lower lip.Dayo grabbed his shirt from the white leather bean bag beside the snooker table and pulled it on over his head."I'll drop you off at your hostel. It's getting dark outside," he said, picking up his keys from the raffia basket at the center of table.Eniola s
ENIOLA FOUND HERSELF lost in the sweetness of his body pressed to hers. She closed her eyes, losing herself in the moment."Mmm," she moaned quietly as his tongue pushed into her mouth. Even though she knew how crazy it was to let this happen, she couldn't help but kiss him back.Besides what was one harmless little kiss?"Fuck," he groaned into her mouth, his hands traveling slowly down her body. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her.Eniola held her breath as his fingers were just inches from the swell of her breasts. She had to stop him before they went too far...She forced herself to break off the kiss and pushed him back. "Dayo, we should stop," she said breathlessly.Dayo pinned her against the chair with his weight, preventing her from escaping. "Do you really want me to stop, doll face?" he asked, trailing light feathered kisses down the curve of her neck.Eniola sighed and flung he
DAYO SMILED WHEN he caught her staring at him and ushered her into the living room. The first phase of his plan had worked without a hitch."Hi," she stammered, taking a seat on the sofa.Dayo grinned at her. "I didn't know you'd be this early. It's only four thirty, doll face.""Umm...Luckily, there was no traffic on the way." Eniola said, her eyes wandering everywhere but him."I'll be right back." Dayo strolled into the kitchen, returning with a carton of Chivita Iced tea and two glass cups.Eniola grabbed a full cup and gulped it down. "Thank you," she smiled nervously. Her eyes kept straying to his chest but he didn't mind, in fact he liked that she was getting all hot and bothered."Wow, you must be really thirsty." Dayo chuckled, pouring her another glass. She looked embarrassed. "Yeah, it's hot outside.""Yeah, it's kinda hot in here too," he said, crossing his arms over his muscled c
ENIOLA GAVE A sturdy knock on the dark wooden door of her father's office. Taking the muffled sound as permission to enter the office, she pushed the door open, and was greeted with the smell of old books. The office was dark and cold. The ray of sunshine being the only light in the room. Books were neatly arranged in alphabetical order on the shelves. Bulky files were placed atop each other on a side table. Timetables, schedules and rosters were pinned on a board that was hung on the peeling white wall.Prof. Ajayi Craig was sitting on a chair behind his large mahogany desk. He was talking to someone on the phone, and he seemed annoyed. That explains the muffled sound she heard behind the door, Eniola thought. She stood there awkwardly while contemplating if she should take her seat or not.She decided to stick with the latter.Eniola waited till he finished the call before sitting down on the leather chair opposite him. She knew she had done
