Seeing Emily sneer and not bother to answer his question, Gabriel angrily shoved her aside and stormed into the house.

Finding no one in the living room, he rushed into the bedroom. The small house, no more than thirty square meters, was searched thoroughly, but there was no sign of Catherine.
