The door to the makeup room opened.

Janet jumped up in surprise and excitement. “Jackson!”

“Yeah,” Jackson frowned, but his gaze was fixed on Emily. “Come with me, I need to talk to you.”

Jackson was the same as always. No, now he was even more flamboyant. He had dyed his hair blonde, wore a brown and black leather jacket, studded boots, and had skull earrings, which were a bit scary.

Especially with his frowning, impatient look, he still made people feel uneasy.

Janet was stunned for a moment, looking back and forth between Jackson and Emily. “You guys... know each other?”

Emily explained, “I used to work for him. I was responsible for the makeup of the models at his car show.”

“Oh, I see.”

Jackson was already getting impatient. He walked past Janet and grabbed Emily's wrist, pulling her out.

Emily was startled, stumbling and almost falling, a cold sweat breaking out.

“Slow down, I'm pregnant...”

Jackson suddenly stopped, his eyes flashing with cold light. “What's going on between yo
