206 Meeting Grandmother

Meggie's driver arrived quickly.

Logan was not invited. This gathering was for the women, so he had to go back to work.

Grace took Sophia and Emily into the car.

Emily walked in front. As she reached for the car door handle, Sophia quickly interjected, "Sorry, I get car sick in the front seat. I'll sit in the back."

Emily looked at Sophia, who had already taken a seat in the back, and nodded, "Okay."

Meggie's driver observed them, his eyes moving thoughtfully between them.

Emily sat in the front passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt.

The seatbelt left a long mark on her skirt. Looking in the rearview mirror, Emily saw Sophia wearing the white dress Mr. Satan had given her. She carefully smoothed the hem of her dress, not allowing even a single wrinkle.
