“BORIS!” Dahlia squealed as she ran out of the house.
Matt chased after her. “Hiding behind the big guy will not stop me from killing you Dee.”
“It will if the big guy will kill for her,” Boris stood protectively in front of Dahlia.
“That’s not fair,” Matt complained while we all laughed. Rico was eyeing me strangely.
“Life’s not fair Matty,” Dahlia giggled as she finished off his ice-cream.
“Boris does not play fair guys,” Matt whined.
“Boris is big enough to choose to not play fair. Would you challenge him?” Leila raised an eyebrow at him.
It had been two weeks since everything went down with Demon. Silas and I decided to make Boris a co-Beta with Troy, and Troy welcomed it because being Beta to 1385 wolves ‘can put strain on a man’s ability to have an imagination’.
