Ended Tragically

Lisa joined in crying when she heard her daughter's cries. There was nothing she could do but stroke Bella's back, making her feel better even though it seemed impossible.

This was the second time she had seen Bella this broken.

"Just let it out, Bella. Cry as hard as you can if it makes you feel better," Lisa said.

Bella didn't say anything but responded with a tighter hug.

"Sob... Mother, why?" she asked in a very hoarse voice. Her voice was heartbreaking for anyone who heard it.

How could it not be? Bella lost her fetus that she had been anticipating twice. And the second time, what Bella knew was because her lover himself forced her to abort it.
