Davis's POV

The news about Lord Charles's death spread like wildfire all over the city. There were different versions about what happened to him, as some were trying to hide the truth. I didn't know why they were hiding it, I didn't care if the whole of New York knew that I was the one who killed him.

Some News had mentioned that the new Don had a hand in it, while others claimed Lord Charles had shot himself.

Vincent and I sat in my office watching the news when he shook his head, turning to me, he said,

“Let's go”

“Where to?” I asked with squinted eyes. He had already rooted out a gun from under the table before us.

“The next name on the list,” he replied. It was only two days since we killed Lord Charles, we were already going for the next person.

“Don't look at me that way” he said to me, “We were supposed to strike their names immediately it given to us. I only remained quiet because you went to visit Mr. Chao. Today, I'm erasing them from the surface of the earth”
