Davis's POV

The next day, as promised, I released Jerry. Grace said she wanted to watch me let him go, so she stood in front of the mansion when the man was brought out of the dungeon. So she didn't get upset with how I had damaged his body, I made sure he was cleaned first, and his wounds were treated also.

In the presence of my beloved Grace, I passed him a visa to leave the country, and I handed him some cash also.

“Go and start a new life. Never return to New York. If I or any of my men see you here in New York, you're a dead man. I do not need your thank you or your sorry, just get out”

I watched him being escorted out of the residence with anger and hatred. I was so angry that I couldn't kill the bastard. For the first time in history, I let a traitor go. This made me remember Godfather's words, sometimes you'll make decisions that make you look weak, but it actually takes a strong will to make such a decision.
