POV: AARON

Without thinking, my wolf propelled us into the water, desperately searching for her. I fought against the current, looking around frantically, trying to find her. I spotted the water carrying her toward the waterfall. I kicked my arms and legs forcefully, swimming in her direction, but the river was relentless and faster than me. Before I could reach her, her body was swept over the falls.

Fighting fiercely against the current, I grabbed onto a massive rock at the edge of the waterfall, pulling myself onto it and scanning below for any sign of her. I leapt into the forest, shifting midair, and ran along the riverbank, sniffing desperately for any trace of my little wolf.

I roared in fury:

“Idiot, fool... How could you not see it?” I bellowed as I ran, following the river in search of Callie. “The Goddess sent you to her to protect her, DAMN IT!”

I growled, shifting into m

I glanced at the remaining Alphas, who looked back at me, equally perplexed.“Who is the deity referring to?” Jaxon asked, confused.“I don’t know, but I believe we’ll find out soon,” I growled, putting him in his place and pushing him away from the center of the circle. “Unless you want to become part of the sacrifice, I suggest you step back.”Nodding, the Beta quickly retreated. I turned to the trembling she-wolves on the ground, huddled together, crying and pleading:“Please, Alpha, don’t kill us… We’ll serve you faithfully, please,” begged the eldest of the group, shielding the others.

A strange smell lingered in the air, and a weight pressing down on my body made it hard to breathe. Something was touching me intimately. I growled threateningly, startled by the sound that came from me.“Who’s there?” I pushed hard against whatever was on top of me.“Callie? So you’re awake?” A smug growl came from nearby.“Callie?” I asked, confused, forcing my body to sit up. “Why are the lights off?”A silence fell over the room before a mocking laugh exploded, filling the foul-smelling space.“That’s a good one—you’re blind, remember?” The man’s voice vibrated with mockery as he grabbed my elbow tightly. &ldq

Where was he with help?Tears continued streaming down, washing over my face. Why did I feel so empty? Once again, his image came crashing into my mind—those intense eyes filled with surprise and shock, that gaze, that aura...“Love...” A whisper echoed in the darkness surrounding me.“Love?” I murmured, instinctively touching my lower abdomen, where a faint but rapid heartbeat pulsed. “What is this?”“Protect it!&

Augie had done something to bring me here, but why would she hide the location even from a friend?“None of this makes sense...” I muttered, shaking my head in frustration, growling as I felt the pain in my ribs. “Alright, Wolf, either you fix me, or it won’t be possible to find her!”A growl rang from my chest, partially closing my wounds.“Is this your way of negotiating?” I roll my eyes in annoyance. “Fine.”I walked into the city, and the wolves around widened their eyes in surprise. Soon, Jaxon came running toward me.“King Lycan, we were worried. I sent a team of trackers to locate you, but your scent had disappeared,” the Beta said urgently, sniffing in my direction and frowning. “Are you injured?”The wolves nearb

POV: DANTEI threw the witch down the stairs, ordering her to heal the useless blind wolf. I needed to understand what my God wanted with her. Waiting upstairs, I extended my claws, slicing deeply across my wrist in a straight line. With the blood, I formed the symbol on the floor and let my hands fall to my sides, closing my eyes as I invoked him:“Nocturnus, sovereign deity of worlds, your loyal servant, calls upon you. Illuminate my mind regarding your divine gift and guide me to serve you better until you complete victory!”I felt the infernal heat of his green flames and opened my eyes, seeing his spectral form floating before me. He resembled a feral, undefined wolf with black fur and long, shaggy arms that covered his head and parts of his face. His claws were enormous, and his ears were sharply pointed. His oppressive and malevolent power was overwhelming, and I reveled in the magnitude of his aura.

Closing my eyes, I heard the wind whisper, “Aaron, danger...” It was Yulli's voice. I glanced around, frowning.“Damn it, Yulli, couldn’t you just use technology?” I growled, irritated. She rarely called for me, and I owed her so much.Yulli had found me in my deplorable state after Hunter's attack. My body was stripped of its skin, and although the goddess' mercy kept me alive, it took a long time to recover—not just physically but emotionally. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw my dead siblings and my fallen parents. The guilt ate away at me, fueling my ever-growing rage. That’s when Yulli performed a mental barrier spell, blocking the most painful memories. It wasn’t as though I couldn’t access or recall them, but they

I walked slowly, noticing my bare feet pressing against the forest floor. Was this another vision? I could see.A beam of golden light piqued my curiosity. I approached cautiously, finding large gates that seemed abandoned.I pushed the heavy gates open, stepping into a magnificent temple. At its center stood a grand sculpture of the goddess, surrounded by a fountain. Frowning in confusion, I moved closer, running my fingers lightly over the stone, which radiated a comforting warmth.“But who are you?” I murmured to the statue, which emitted an intense white light.“Your Moon Goddess...” whispered a mystical voice, sending shivers down my spine. Her benevolence washed over me, and I fell to my knees,

The mana stone that repels magic needs to be bathed in pure cave water to maintain its power. I guess he doesn’t know that.” She let out a soft laugh. “And he wanted to become the Supreme Alpha with such foolishness.”“Yulli, why are you helping me? You know you’re putting yourself at risk… You could escape without me. I’m blind…” I sighed. “I’ll only slow you down!”“Why do you think I’m here?” The sorceress gently touched my hand, and I felt the chains vibrate as they unlocked. “The ancestors sent me to you. My inner beast roared for his mate, yet whenever we were physically together, he became fierce and defensive toward her.“Why is your wolf rejecting me?” she asked, confused, lowering her head, sadness in her voice.“I don’t understand, Lycan King. I thought you wanted me. Did I misunderstand?”Something about the way she spoke felt off, but I still didn’t know what h

He actually seems to like this blind she-wolf.”I ran my hands through my hair, stepping in front of the mirror.Despite the magic and my identical appearance to Callie, I could see. Those who looked at me, however, only saw blind eyes, unable to perceive the magical veil cloaking my face, shaping it into that of the insignificant little wolf.“Enjoying your new look?”Jaxon entered the room, laughing.“You look even better like this!”“Go to hell, Beta!” I growled, irritated, glaring at him through the mirror’s reflection.“What do you want? Her mind raced through the next steps, thinking of how to return to the Alpha.I nibbled lightly on his back, making him sigh, then trailed kisses upward, inhaling his addictive, woody scent. My nails glided over his shoulders and arms in slow, rhythmic strokes.“I still can’t give you the answers you want, but please, Alpha... Here, at least, can we just be you and me?”Aaron turned, cupping my face with his open palm. I let my head rest against him, closing my eyes to absorb his warmth.“Please...”His hand slid to the nape of my neck, pulling me forward, guiding my body onto his. However, the same had happened in my dream.“Callie?” I called. She kept her head down in silence.“Why isn’t she speaking?”“I couldn’t say, Alpha. I managed to repel it, but I think there were side effects.”“Bring a stretcher here, now!” Ryan shouted, issuing a command. “I’m going to take care of you.”“I don’t need a stretcher; just examine the wounded area. I ordered Hunter to capture Lyra, a priestess with ancient blood, so he could make her his Luna and bear offspring with rare blood—blessed by the Moon Goddess, yet with a father corrupted by my power.”“Are you saying…” I started to speak, but his gaze sent me to the ground.“Silence, I haven't finished speaking,” Nocturnus resounded impassively. “Where were we?
