POV: AARON

Sweet words slipped from Callie’s lips like a whisper.

“To be yours.”

My wolf roared with ecstasy, consumed by the desire to claim her, to savor her innocence and purity. She was more than I had anticipated—tight, warm, alive, and trembling. With every thrust, her walls clenched around my erection, sending shivers through me. Her intoxicating scent was addictive; I needed more of her constantly. I entered her gently, promising pleasure instead of pain. I had never been this delicate with any female before, but Callie awakened a primal need to protect her.

Every sigh, my name whispered with each escaped moan, was an unmatched delight. The need for her consumed me, driving me to carry her to the bath after we both reached our peak, tangling ourselves in the warmth of the water.

I bit her with fervor, lingering, until Callie brought me back to my senses, chastising me for not

POV: DANTECallie walked past us with her tail between her legs. Just imagining having to mark her as my Luna made me nauseous. Everything about this defective wolf disgusted me—she was flawed, incomplete, incapable of even shifting into her human form. If only she were less repulsive than her wolf form, perhaps she could be of some use.No one understood why the Alpha kept her alive. However, one day during a hunt, Hunter made it clear that despite his daughter’s insignificance, she came from a rare and unique lineage. Perhaps, with time, her powers would awaken, which would benefit our new God and give us an advantage over our enemies. It never made sense to me. But I started to notice how she reacted when we hunted her. Callie seemed to know exactly where to go, when to dodge, and what was coming next. Everything became clear that cursed night. I saw that useless omega sneaking out of his cell, agitated. I followed him

I want to know how!” I lifted Orion’s limp body, then smirked as I realized, “But I think I broke him.” Tossing him to the ground, I smiled darkly as he groaned in pain and dragged himself along.“Beta, there’s a hidden village below the stream, known only to a few in our pack. Meet me there in a few days. I want to know exactly what this plan is,” I commanded, noticing the trail of blood Orion was leaving behind. Picking him up again, I turned my sharp gaze to Jaxon, who watched me with a strange glint in his eye. “And the female, Esmeralda—keep her safe, or you’ll pay the price!”“I thought your mate’s name was; what was it

POV: CALLIEI was walking across a lush green field, surrounded by the delightful aromas of mixed flowers. The sun kissed my skin with gentle caresses, and I closed my eyes, tilting my chin toward the sky, feeling invigorated. The sound of children laughing caught my attention, and I approached, watching as two young wolf pups played, biting and leaping at each other, while a little she-wolf hid in the tall grass, preparing to ambush them. The moment she pounced on them, both yelped in surprise, sparking a playful tussle. A man came into view, effortlessly scooping up two of the children under his arms, while a beautiful woman walked by me, embracing the little girl in a loving hug.“You know you shouldn't scare your brothers!” she gently scolded.“Mom… All they do is play. How will they ever protect us—or themselves—if they don’t take this seriously?” the girl whin

But beyond that…” the former Alpha began, speaking to his son.“And here I thought the list was already long!” the young wolf replied, rolling his eyes.“It's important, Aaron!” Zephyr growled in admonishment, drawing his attention. “As the future Supreme Alpha, you must always keep this in mind. You are the balancing line for the packs, the supreme order. If a pack fails, it means you are failing as well.”“But doesn't an Alpha only govern one pack?” Aaron asked curiously, sitting beside his father and leaning closer.

Control my gift to become his eyes?“What does that mean?” I asked, still lost and hesitant about the weight and significance of such a promise. Could I trust the Alpha to be my eyes? Or was I just preying, used for the wolves’ hunt?“Exactly what the words say, little wolf. Foresee the future for me; be my vision to keep me steps ahead of my enemies, and I’ll ensure you see the present without missing a single detail,” he growled, rubbing his nose against mine and pulling me to my feet. “Let me show you!”“Where are we going?” I asked, letting go of his hands and taking a few cautious steps back.“You’re still afraid of me,” the Alpha stated with a soft growl. “I&

Aaron continued to describe every nuance of the sunset, ensuring no detail was left out. Even without seeing, the magic and grandeur of that moment were truly unique.“This is really beautiful.” I whispered, sipping a bit more.“It truly is beautiful,” Aaron said, placing a finger under my chin, turning me toward him, and capturing my lips in a soft yet commanding kiss. “Hunf, you taste sweeter.”“This feeling is pleasant,” I said with a small smile, still close to his mouth. “Thank you, Alpha.”“You thank and apologize too much,” he growled, massaging the back of my neck. “No one should be de

I grabbed her waist, feeling sparks ignite between us. The intensity of the moment was unsettling.“Forgive me, Alpha,” Callie said, embarrassed, bowing her head. POV: AARONBy late afternoon, the traitors stood in the center of the town square, drawing the attention of the townspeople who, in their human forms, had gathered in a circle to watch. I remained in front of the water fountain while the prisoners were tied to wooden stakes driven into the ground.“My wolves,” I began, my voice resonating with firm authority, “the prisoners before you have been judged. Undeniable evidence of their treason has been presented. These wolves have been found guilty of their actions—spreading the marks of the Dark God’s sect throughout Convergence, which led to the draining of the local residents’ life force.”“This isn’t fair!” the elder woman cried out, her voice thick with emotion. “That city doesn’t belong to any pack! POV: CALLIEI explored the cave we were in, sniffing around to make sure there was no danger. I followed the sound of water, dipping my hand in and feeling its comfortable, inviting temperature.“Yulli?” I called, but the witch seemed unconscious, having used the last of her strength to partially heal the poison that the Dark God had spread through my body.I slid out of my clothes, stepping into the water, feeling its gentle caress against my skin. I scrubbed my body, desperate to rid myself of the scent of Dante and Nocturnus. The darkness that clung to them was repulsive. I needed to figure out what to do next—the Supreme Alpha was the father of my child, the same man from my dreams, seemingly my destined mate. But why did I want to run from him? Why did I feel the need to escape? Aaron wasn’t like the man in my dreams. Had I simply idealized him?“So many ques

If they are found guilty of treason, I will judge and punish them personally.”“But, Lycan King, we didn’t do any.” The prisoner started to speak, but immediately fell silent when my fierce eyes locked onto him.“Please, Alpha, you can’t possibly believe my son is a traitor… This she-wolf disappeared for days and suddenly shows up with these accusations!” the elder pleaded, glaring at Kemilly, who growled threateningly.“Kemilly left under my command. She has served me for years and was once even considered for Luna. Show some respect, elder.” I growled,

POV: CALLIE“How did you manage to break free?” I asked the witch, alarmed.“I’m not an ordinary sorceress. Besides, Dante isn’t as smart as he thinks. The mana stone that repels magic needs to be bathed in pure cave water to maintain its power. I guess he doesn’t know that.” She let out a soft laugh. “And he wanted to become the Supreme Alpha with such foolishness.”“Yulli, why are you helping me? You know you’re putting yourself at risk… You could escape without me. I’m blind…” I sighed. “I’ll only slow you down!”“Why do you think I’m here?” The sorceress gently touched my hand, and I felt the chains vibrate as they unlocked. “The ancestors sent me to you. My inner beast roared for his mate, yet whenever we were physically together, he became fierce and defensive toward her.“Why is your wolf rejecting me?” she asked, confused, lowering her head, sadness in her voice.“I don’t understand, Lycan King. I thought you wanted me. Did I misunderstand?”Something about the way she spoke felt off, but I still didn’t know what h

He actually seems to like this blind she-wolf.”I ran my hands through my hair, stepping in front of the mirror.Despite the magic and my identical appearance to Callie, I could see. Those who looked at me, however, only saw blind eyes, unable to perceive the magical veil cloaking my face, shaping it into that of the insignificant little wolf.“Enjoying your new look?”Jaxon entered the room, laughing.“You look even better like this!”“Go to hell, Beta!” I growled, irritated, glaring at him through the mirror’s reflection.“What do you want? Her mind raced through the next steps, thinking of how to return to the Alpha.I nibbled lightly on his back, making him sigh, then trailed kisses upward, inhaling his addictive, woody scent. My nails glided over his shoulders and arms in slow, rhythmic strokes.“I still can’t give you the answers you want, but please, Alpha... Here, at least, can we just be you and me?”Aaron turned, cupping my face with his open palm. I let my head rest against him, closing my eyes to absorb his warmth.“Please...”His hand slid to the nape of my neck, pulling me forward, guiding my body onto his. He stopped when he noticed me.“My king...” Jaxon said, offering a slight bow. “I found the blind she-wolf wandering near the mount, close to the moss lands. I brought your prisoner back.”I stepped closer, sniffing in her direction. Though her scent had familiar traces, something about it felt off. However, the same had happened in my dream.“Callie?” I called. She kept her head down in silence.“Why isn’t she speaking?”“I couldn’t say, Alpha. Even when I captured her, she didn’t utter a single word,” the Beta responded curtly, staring at her. “Maybe she has nothing to say.”“Release her chains!” I ordered, irritated at seeing her in tha
