As if no storm had ever hit, this morning was like the previous mornings, where Azkia opened her eyes still in her husband's arms. Azkia's position turned her back to Deffin, then not long after, Azkia felt a hand that was on Azkia's thigh, now starting to crawl on Azkia's bulging stomach, gently stroking it as a good morning greeting to the child in her stomach.

Azkia initially smiled, but in the next second, her memory of yesterday's incident hit her brain, with one movement Azkia managed to make Deffin embrace the air.

"Darling!" protested Deffin with a hoarse voice typical of waking up.

asking for a hug last night, I wouldn't be in this room," he continued, still hiding his embarrassment. In her heart Azkia cursed her stupidity, how could Azkia not wake up first, for the situation to end like this?
