I was about to tell Liam the truth about why I had agreed to the arranged marriage when my father's Cal interrupted me.

"I have to pick this call, it's my dad" I said and he nodded positively. I was used to keeping my phone on speaker and since it was my dad that was calling,I saw no reason to put it on silent. I just answered the call.
