CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE

"Where is Mr. Liam?" the pediatric cardiologist asked, looking at the two women. "He will be the one to receive the result of your daughter's test." Lucy and her mother are in the cardiologist office for the test result but the doctor was refusing to give them any information. He felt it would be best to give the result to a man. Lucy and her mother were becoming increasingly frustrated with the doctor's refusal to share the information.

"Was I not the one who authorized the test to be done? Was her father here when you said she needed the test?Why do you now need her father when it's time to tell us the results?" Lucy said, her voice rising in anger. "What is wrong with my baby? Should I take her to another hospital or what?" she asked, growing more and more frustrated.
