Lee Haekyo woke up from his sleep at four in the morning when he remembered his plan this morning. The man then immediately got up from his bed and immediately went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. After everything was done, he then walked to the kitchen.
Yesterday before he went to bed, he had a plan to make Hana lunch. The woman had told him that today she was going back to college, so Haekyo thought it would be better for Hana if he brought her homemade lunch to take to campus.
With enthusiasm Lee Haekyo began to take out an egg from the refrigerator. Then he prepared the Teflon and put it on the stove to make the fried egg. While limping, the man started walking towards the dining table to pick up a few slices of white bread. Then Lee Haekyo looked so busy spreading butter on the white bread that he forgot the egg he fried. Instantly the smell of charred eggs wafted through the house, so Aunt Nam immediately rushed to the kitchen. And with
Lee Haekyo limped around the spacious building where Hana studied. He glanced at the watch that was wrapped around his wrist as he walked restlessly. It's three o'clock in the afternoon, and this morning Hana promised him she'd be back at one o'clock. And for that reason, finally he recklessly came to this university to pick up Hana. While walking around in confusion here and there, Lee Haekyo took the initiative to ask a group of women who were chatting near the oak tree. He thought they would know where Hana was because they were studying at the same university. “Eex-excuse me, ddo you know where Im Hha-Hana is?” Haekyo asked stuttering but still leaving a good impression. "Im Hannah? We don't know Im Hana,” answered a black-haired woman to Lee Haekyo. They all looked strangely at Lee Haekyo while giggling amused. "Well, thank you," said Lee Haekyo politely as he walked away from the group of women. He continue his steps to enter the
Lee Haekyo and Lee Hyukjae arrived at the house as evening approached. When they arrived, Hana was already waiting for them with a big smile in front of the main door of Lee's residence, but when Haekyo was fully out of the car, the man just kept walking towards the house without even looking at Hana. The man also ignored Hyukjae's screams that reminded him to pick up his cellphone which he left in the car. "What's wrong with Haekyo oppa?" Hana asked sadly. Honestly she felt so bad for Haekyo. "Leave him alone, he's in a sulking phase right now." Hyukjae explained casually as he preceded Hana walking into the house. Im Hana then chased after Hyukjae's steps who were getting further and further into the house. "Hyukjae ssi, were you guys looking for me on campus earlier?" Hana asked feeling bad. Hyukjae then stopped in his step and nodded his head twice in response. “Actually Haekyo was looking for you on campus. I only came to pick him up beca
That night, heavy rain accompanied by a storm flushed the city of Seoul very horribly. The sound of rustling branches and leaves knocking on the windows was like the roar of a terrifying monster. Hana woke up from her slumber hugging her shivering body with fear. The red blanket wrapped around her body so that it covered her entire head. Curled up in the blanket, Im Hana keeps muttering to herself so she can control her fear of darkness and storms. She could faintly hear a loud crash echoing in her head. Then followed by a long buzzing sound from inside her ears until it felt like her brain was going to burst because she couldn't stand the horrible sounds. Now her breath is getting more rapid and panting because she is so scared by her situation like this. She wanted to run out and ask for help from anyone who is willing to accompany her for the night. In fact, for the past few months she has been declared cured of her head trauma by doctors. For some reason the trauma actua
Im Hana went down to the kitchen while poking her head into the kitchen. She saw Aunt Nam was cooking alone in the kitchen without any help from the maids. She started to walk into the kitchen slowly while considering nervously. She suddenly had an idea to make Haekyo his favorite breakfast menu. Although a little hesitant, she finally started to strengthen her heart and tried to ask Aunt Nam for help so that she was taught how to cook Lee Haekyo's favorite food. "Erm, excuse me, Aunt Nam can I ask you a favor?" Hana asked quietly from behind Aunt Nam's back. The middle-aged woman then turned around while smiling gently at Hana. "Oh, Miss. Hana. Of course.” "I want to cook Haekyo oppa's favorite food, can you teach me how to cook Haekyo oppa's favorite food? After all, you have been the maid since Haekyo oppa was a kid, so you must know how to cook Haekyo oppa's favorite food." Aunt Nam smiled happily while nodding excitedly. Then she
Hana walked slowly to her room to check her cellphone which she had left on the bed. The woman while cross-legged on her bed, she began to open one by one the messages that entered into her cellphone. Unfortunately she did not find any messages or missed calls from Kyunghee. Her husband was like being swallowed by the earth without telling her at all. Oddly enough she wasn't worried about the man at all. Hana touched her own chest while imagining her husband's face, but she didn't feel anything there at all. Her heartbeat was beating quite normally. She placed the phone on the nightstand in frustration. She was confused, she did not understand, why did she become like this? Do I actually love Kyunghee? Hana thought doubtfully. But then she actually blamed Kyunghee for all the doubts that hit her heart. Supposedly if Kyunghee loved her and wanted to be loved, that man should always be by his side and accompany her when she was in trouble. How could she not ha
Hyukjae sneaked into the empty building owned by Lee Corp. In the past, this building was a warehouse for storing wood raw materials for a subsidiary of Lee Corp, which is engaged in furniture. Due to its remote location and frequent landslides during the winter season, the log shed was eventually moved to the Gangwon area which is closer to the city center. Now even though the old building is empty, actually the late Mr. Lee Hyeong Do planned to use the empty building again as a resort, because of its location close to the ski area which is open every December to February. At least the building will still make money instead of just being left empty like this. It turned out that Mr. Lee had not yet had time to realize his intention, because he had already died a year and a half ago. But, of course if Lee Haekyo was healthy and not sick, then his son would definitely continue the construction of the building. Unfortunately, now that Lee Haekyo is actually sick, it is impossib
"What are you doing in that idiot's room?" Hana flinched in surprise and almost hit Haekyo's door when suddenly Kyunghee appeared in front of her with an unfriendly face and a very cold tone. “Kkyu Kyunghee, when are you coming back?” Hana asked nervously as she tried to normalize her crazed heartbeat. "Few minutes ago. Do you often go into that idiot's room?” Hana squeezed the end of her dress nervously while swallowing her own saliva before answering Kyunghee's question which seemed to intimidate her. "No, I just woke Haekyo oppa to ask him to have breakfast together." Hana answered honestly. Cho Kyunghee looked at Hana's face intently to check the lies in Hana's eyes. But, after feeling that Hana wasn't lying, Kyunghee finally chose to leave without saying a word to her. "Kyu, where are you going? There are many things I want to ask you,” said Hana while holding Kyunghee's arm so that the man doesn't leave her. He wa
Lee Haekyo was playing with Legos in his room when a mysterious call from an unknown person came his cell phone. With a furrowed brow he lifted the phone to his face while observing the caller's number. Then he immediately answered and stuck the square object to the right side of his ear. "Hha hallo, is tthere an-anything I can hhelp you with?" Haekyo greeted with his stuttering voice. Someone on the other side was silent. He didn't say anything and only the sound of his breathing continued to be heard from the mysterious caller. Haekyo who was confused by the caller finally decided to hang up the call unilaterally, but before that happened, the mysterious caller immediately shouted and warned Haekyo. "Don't hang up this phone," said the person suddenly. If examined from his voice, it can be ascertained that the caller has a male, because the caller has a typical male heavy bass voice. "Ffine, say what yyou want ssssir." Haekyo said confused.
Today Haekyo and his little family are at the airport waiting for Kyunghee and his girlfriend to arrive. Since morning, both Daisy and Krystal, both looked so excited while jumping on the bed when Hana told them that their uncle Kyunghee was coming today. “Daddy, where is uncle Kyunghee? What did it take so long?" Daisy asked getting tired while stretching her arms for Haekyo to be carried. Haekyo then picked up his eldest daughter to carry and told her to be a little patient, because Kyunghee's flight was experiencing delays. “Mommy, is uncle Kyunghee going to bring me a present?” Krsytal asked beside her mother while looking up at Hana. Then Hana smiled gently at Krystal and gently stroked Krystal's long hair. “Uncle Kyunghee will bring you a beautiful aunty.” Hana answered cheerfully. Hearing the word beautiful aunty, Krystal immediately frowned in confusion while looking at her mother with her big round eyes. "Beautiful aunty, who?"
Hana waved her hand at the little girls who were swimming with her father in the pool. The two girls in their early threes looked so happy to be able to spend their weekends with their very busy father. “Daisy, Krystal hold daddy's hand. Don't let go of daddy's hand, girls." Hana exclaimed worriedly from the edge of the pool. But the twin daughters still did not follow the advice of the mother because they felt safe. "Relax Hana, they will be safe. I'll keep an eye on them here." Haekyo said soothingly while chuckling amused. He knows that Hana is very overprotective of her twin daughters, even though her attitude is good, but sometimes he feels it is too much. He knew his little daughters would feel discomfy if her mother continued to treat them like babies. While they already feel big and independent. This morning, before they went swimming, they refused Hana's help to put them in bathing suits. They both stay away from Hana and yell at Hana if they can wea
Jack and his remaining men immediately ran as far as possible from Kyunghee's pursuit. Moments ago when he realized that Kyunghee had been playing with him, Jack immediately ran as fast as possible from the room because he had absolutely no weapons to fight Kyunghee. The only gun he had had been given to Kyunghee to kill Haekyo, but it turned out to be used by the man to kill his three men. Now he only has five surviving men and is running with him to avoid Kyunghee while trying to defend himself by responding to every shot that Kyunghee throws at them. Although the chance to escape and survive this pursuit is very small, Jack will still try to escape from Kyunghee and the police who have been guarding out there. He didn't want to die. "Jack, stop you!" Kyunghee shouted loudly behind him. Jack and the rest of his men seemed to ignore Kyunghee's screams and continued running towards the back door to escape. The back door was at the very end of the building and the cop
Lee Haekyo and the policemen were standing in front of Kyunghee's basecamp with the police force currently surrounding the entire base. From afar he saw two of Jack's men walking toward him with their hands above their heads, a sign that they were not carrying weapons and would not hurt them. Haekyo then tucked a gun behind his belt just in case. Today he had absolutely no intention of shedding blood. However, if circumstances forced him to do so, then he would have no other choice but to do so. "Hold on, don't shoot them." Haekyo shouted at all the police who were ready with gun muzzles aimed at the two tattooed men. After giving the order, Haekyo immediately walked up to the two men and asked the purpose of the two men meeting him. "What is it?" Haekyo asked directly with a straight face. “Mr. Jack wants you to come inside for negotiations. But you must warn all the cops not to shoot us, or Mr. Jack will kill our three captives." Haekyo frowned in e
Hyukjae crept among hundreds of boxes neatly arranged in a room. All the boxes were filled with various kinds of drugs ready to be sent which seemed to be sent today. Seeing this, Hyukjae could only shake his head while chuckling not liking all this sight. Now his assessment of Kyunghee is getting worse with the various kinds of illicit goods produced by the man's business. Bang Suddenly he heard an explosion sound coming from the room next to him. Quickly, he ran to the room to find out about the sound of the explosion, because he thought the sound did not come from one of his men. So far, he's the only one who's managed to walk in to reach this point, the rest of them are busy at the front to fight all of Kyunghee's men who are quite a lot. From a distance he saw a fierce battle taking place in the room. He then saw a man who was very familiar to him. The man was kneeling on the floor with his hands raised above his head, a sign that he was giving up. Then
Hyukjae moved into Kyunghee's basecamp along with the rest of his men. A man in a leather jacket with several of his other men got into the car and they then drove out of the base, past Hyukjae and his men who were hiding behind a pile of boxes and containers. After Jack left, Hyukjae and the rest of his men decided to immediately enter the base while sneaking around slowly. He then ambushed a muscular man who was guarding the front gate of the basecamp by giving several blows in the face and stomach until the big man fell. Several of guys had succeeded in overthrowing all the guards guarding the front base. Then Hyukjae immediately stepped into the basecamp to look for Hana. His heart had been feeling restless since earlier because he kept thinking about the various possibilities that would befall Hana inside. He felt weird with his current anxiety. Even though his own cousin, who is Hana's lover, seems calm and not at all worried about Hana's condition. But, there's no way
Flash back Kyunghee was hanging out with his bad guys while smoking a cigarette and playing cards. Today he decided to skip school again because he was lazy to follow the lessons from teacher Park which was always boring and made him sleepy. Kyunghee then took out all the money he had to start betting. And this time he was sure, he would win this bet like yesterday. One by one Kyunghee's friends had their cards in their hands. With a smirk, Kyunghee began to glance at the picture of the card he was currently holding. Then when he was about to show his card to his other friends, his eyes accidentally met the eyes of a young girl who was wearing the same school uniform as him. He began to forget his card playing activities and only focused on the beautiful girl who had stolen all his attention. Feeling that she came from the same school, Kyunghee immediately jumped away from his friends to return to school. For today he is willing to attend to Teacher
Flash back Twelve-year-old little Kyunghee seemed to be sprinting into her new spacious house holding a white paper that he just got from school. This morning he took part in the selection to be the captain of the soccer team at his school. With passionate enthusiasm, Kyunghee registered himself in the selection and she was determined to pass the selection because he wanted to show his father that he can give the best for his father like what his brother always did. Every day he always trains hard to realize his dream to become a captain of a great football team. And this afternoon, when his gym teacher announced a name that would be the captain of the national soccer championship, Kyunghee's name was plastered on the school's bulletin board along with the names of other students who passed the selection to become members of the school's soccer team. Excitedly, Kyunghee immediately tore the white paper off the school notice board without cari
"Welcome back Mr. Lee to Lee Corp," Greeted head manager Shin when Haekyo stepped into Lee corp's central building in downtown Seoul. Several other employees also bowed their heads, saluting their old boss who was finally able to lead them again. Lee Haekyo expressed his deepest gratitude for their loyalty in serving him. Followed by Mr. Kim, Haekyo continued walking while greeting all his employees one by one. After that he and Mr. Kim walked into the elevator to go up to his room. It had been a long time since the room had been empty without anyone occupying it. During Kyunghee's tenure as CEO, the man occupied the room of his father's former room which was right next to his room. From the start, Mr. Kim did not allow Kyunghee to use his room because Mr. Kim knew that one day he would definitely come back and occupy the room again, even though at that time Kyunghee had doubts about it. "Welcome back sir." Mr. Kim said as he opened the door to Haekyo's room
