"I hope he likes your present." Ezra commented.

"He will." Cara giggled.

We stayed laying on the couch watching the TV for the next hour until Cara fell asleep. Ezra carried her into her room and tucked her in then kissed her on the forehead before heading out of the room.

I got up and walked over to the window and opened it. The cool fresh air hit my face as I leaned out the window and glanced at the stars. I sighed softly as I leaned against the window frame.

A few minutes later, I heard footsteps coming up the staircase and turned around to see Ezra walking towards me.

"Everything ok?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah, everything is fine. Did you need something?" I replied, moving closer to the window so that I could wrap an arm around his waist.

"No, I was just wondering if you were ready to go home yet." He replied.

I let out another sigh and nodded my head slowly. Ezra placed his hand on the side of my cheek.
