We're meant to be!

She rolls her eyes in disgust and said sarcastically, “Like hell, we can. I've met enough humans to know that you guys are completely evil. What kind of human wants to marry a monster like you?”

Alpha King smirked at her insult but didn't answer her comment, instead saying “We could work out this problem by ourselves, we could live together and grow old together, you know?” he suggested.

“No way in hell, you have the worst taste in women. If I am ever with you, it will surely be only as a servant, nothing more.” Celine said firmly.

“So you're saying that you want to spend the rest of your life alone? I'm afraid that's not how life works, princess. You'll be with me always, we can be together forever.”

“That's not possible. I am confident that there are many other people like me. We are the last ones, remember? Besides, why should I care about being with someone who doesn't give me any happiness? Why should I give up my life for yours, just so we could continue living like this?!” She raised her voice, her breathing heavy.

“My dear, my precious little princess, that is where you're wrong. Our relationship is not about sex. We are mates, we are meant to be together, forever. As long as you have my blood flowing through your veins, you won't die. Not because your body isn't ready for death, you will survive because I can heal you perfectly. You'll be better than you were before you died. I promise.”

At those words, Celine felt the tears streaming down her face. It feels so strange to hear such crazy talk from the man she once thought hated her. He loves her and will never let her go, that's why he wants to marry her.

“Alpha King, please…”

“Please what?” he said with a smirk.

“You are lying to yourself. This whole marriage arrangement is just another trick, you're using me to make yourself stronger. Just stop it already! I won't agree to this marriage anymore!”

"But that's not how it works. You are mine! You have promised me that you won't leave my side until we become a couple! Not only that, but you know what happens to humans who don't keep their promises?” he said.

“Yes, they suffer from serious diseases, but they will recover eventually. That's what they always told me,” she said.

The Alpha King laughed aloud. “Ha! They are idiots! Do you know what happens? Do you realize what happens to them? I'm talking about human diseases and diseases from the past. 

People who break their promises are dead! Humans who disobey orders, people who betray their families, humans who betray their friends and their loved ones. Do you know what happens to them? They are either killed by a pack member or eaten alive. 

“I'm telling you, princess, this marriage idea is not going to work. I can assure you that if we were married, you'd be able to stay with me forever, Your life will be as easy as breathing for you, you'll live with me and be the wife I have always wanted for so long. Believe me, princess, you will live a happy life with me, you will be with me, my queen.”  

“My queen is worth every single second of your existence and I would never hurt her, you have my word! So, please, just say yes, and we will be husband and wife forever! I don't mind giving you more food, new clothes, clothes you love so much, new toys, all the things you wish for. Please, just think about our future.” King Roman, still holding Celine's eyes and staring at her.

“No, we can't do this! Please stop this madness! Let me go! I want to go home! Please just let me go! Let me go!” she cried while fighting against his strong grip.

“Okay then! I will do everything you ask for. Anything you want. Come here, my sweet angel, and you can have whatever you desire.”

Without any hesitation, Celine jumped into his arms and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, she placed her head on his chest and started sobbing uncontrollably. 

 Alpha King Roman held her tight and kissed her forehead softly. He was still smiling from ear to ear, proud of himself and his brilliant plan. She was his bride, his mate, his one and only. Nothing can change that fact.

After a few minutes, Celine was able to calm down and take some deep breaths. She still wasn't looking at his face, she was too embarrassed to see his smirk growing wider. 

She loses her consciousness after a fight with King Roman, and when she finally wakes up.

“I feel so happy to see you wake up, how are you?” 

Celine didn't reply to him, and she feels something strange has been going on.

“I feel so sick to my stomach.” Celine looks so pale and weak, that she was barely able to stand.

“Shhh…you're fine. You're safe, my little princess.” He cooed gently and caress her face.

“What happened? Where am I? What happens-” Celine asked while panicking. She tried to get up from the ground but failed miserably due to the pain she was feeling.

“You've been under my spell for several hours, now I brought you somewhere safe and away from my kingdom. But now you must rest, I will take care of you.” He said and picked her up bridal style, placing her on his lap and placing his hand on her belly.

He starts kissing her cheeks, her forehead, her forehead, and finally, her lips, but suddenly Celine stops him and pushes him away, she pushes him off her lap and stood up.

“I don't need your help and I won't let you control me anymore. I'm leaving right now.” Celine says and tries walking away from the throne room.

But Alpha King grabbed her wrist, forcing her to turn around to face him.

“Listen to me carefully. You may choose to reject me, you may refuse to obey me, but in my heart, you will always belong to me, Celine. No matter what happens, I will always love you.” He says and stares deeply into her eyes.

Then he slowly pulls away from her, letting her go.
