The queen smiled brightly up at him. "Alright." She agreed eagerly.The king grinned widely, lifting the queen effortlessly into his arms and carrying her towards the stairs.The sun shone brightly through the windows, illuminating the large room as if it were daytime, giving an air of luxury and serenity to the spacious room. It seemed that the palace servants had managed to keep the guests entertained during the early hours, allowing them to enjoy a good night's sleep instead of having to suffer through the usual court protocol of eating and drinking, changing clothes, making bed, and generally getting ready for the next day. "Good morning." An unfamiliar voice echoed through the dark room.Roman awoke slowly with a start, blinking drowsily several times before attempting to focus his vision.
