Chapter Eleven

Edward had been away from his pack for two days, and he was finally returning home. As he approached the pack's territory, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with anxiety. He missed his pack, but he also knew that his reason for not always being around was a positive one. He needed to get what he needed from his mate and by all cost.

As he entered the pack's territory, he saw a feminine figure which looked very familiar.

“Emelda,” he muttered, not so sure if he was right.

He moved closer and found out that he was right. In fact she was waiting for him. Edward walked nervously towards the clearing where she was.

He had missed her terribly and couldn't wait to see her again but this was never the plan. As he approached the clearing, he saw her sitting on a log, her long hair blowing in the wind. She looked up and saw him, and a huge smile spread across her face.

He was surprised to see her there since he had asked her to stay away from the pack for the next two years
