Chapter 69: Joy and Pain

Aria’s POV

I thought hard on what Theodore said and he was right, both me and Damien deserve the chance to make up for lost time. I decided to return back to the mansion with Theodore.

“Theodore?.” I called out, he hummed in response with his eyes on the road.

“Why didn’t you tell me my dad tried to sell me to the Venezuela mafia?.” I asked.

He sighed slightly. “I didn’t want you to feel bad and again you wouldn’t have believed me.”

I rested my head back on my seat, and tried hard not to imagine what would have happened to me if Dad succeeded with his plan.

Theodore placed his hand on mine. “But it’s all over now, don’t worry, he won’t be able to harm you anymore.” He comforted and then kissed it.

“We are going to find him even if it means searching the ends of the earth.” He gritted.

“I wonder who those men were and why they took him, could it be some of his own men too?.” I asked confusedly.
