Harmonia’s poised voice sounded before Dimas could utter a word.

“Absalom Terran, we are already divorced!” She stated an unalterable fact with an air of extraordinary serenity. Despite the shock inflicted by the photograph, upon contemplation, it appeared to be the most straightforward and direct approach to counter Absalom, compelling him to take his leave.

“We can remarry.” Absalom peered at her with an astonishingly earnest gaze, his tone devoid of any uncertainty, revealing a determination that was never heard before.

A deafening boom reverberated as a deluge of rain cascaded down, accompanied by a symphony of thunder.
