Chapter 92 – Guilty of Fraud

The next day; Richard was waiting for Emmett to take him into the courthouse. Paul’s court case for fraud was that day and Richard was a witness for the prosecution. “How do you think Paul is going to react to you being a witness against him?” Simone asks, coming out of the bedroom, dressed for work.

“Does it matter?” Richard queries back to her. “Mum is in jail because of what she did. Dad is going to join her because what he did. I don’t really give a shit what he thinks or how he would react.”

Emmett walked out of the bedroom at the end of Richard’s sentence. He didn’t blame Richard; he felt the same way about Paul and Sylvia. “What time is the hearing?” he asks, taking a seat on the sofa to put his shoes and socks on.
