Chapter 205 – I Already Have

Simone and Emmett were dropped off at the office building by Karl before leaving to go tell Mark he should be expecting an email from Marie sometime today. Whilst Emmett decides to go up to the third floor with Simone before heading to his office. “I want to make sure Cheryl got here ok” he says, wrapping his arms around Simone.

Since Sylvia had a go at Cheryl over the weekend; he didn’t like leaving her for any amount of time without security. Cheryl thought it was an overkill and shrugged it off when he suggested Jason or Vince could bring her in this morning since Katrina was at the production warehouse. Simone was worried too, but the pair let her drop Jonathon off at school on her own before she came into the office. “I had Vince follow her at a distance. She got here safely” Simone says with a giggle as the elevator stops on the third floor.

“You had Vince follow me?” Cheryl yells as the two head into Simone’s office where she was waiting. “I told you I am fine; I need to do thi
