Chapter 197 – The New Apprentice

Two days had passed since Paul turned up at the bungalow. Cheryl waited until Katrina and Suzie left before she broke down into uncontrollable sobs. Jonathon had come into Emmett and Simone’s room to get them. They couldn’t comfort her; no matter how had they tried. Simone offered her to have the day off work the following day; she refused and would cry more when Simone insisted.

“I’m fine, really I am” Cheryl insists as the four of them head out the door. “I was with Paul a long time and I think everything just hit me all at once when things calmed down. I’ll drop Jon off at school and meet you at the office, when you get in from the production warehouse.”
