“Hey, you’re back!” I said, nervously, pretending I’m not afraid of him, he raised his hands I surrender, I frowned, “I have no bad intentions in hurting you, trust me” he said, I was surprised of what he just told me, how does he know what I’m thinking?

“And how am I supposed to trust someone I don’t know?” I said, backing away from him, he shook his head, “if I wanted to hurt you, I would’ve done it already” he said, I narrowed my eyes, “what do you want?” I asked, he walked closer to me, still looking at me.

“I was hired by someone who cares about your safety, as you know your fiancé has a lot of enemies. From the moment you made your relationship official, his enemies will see you as a target to reach Harris” he explained, standing right I front of me, “you should know, I’ll be here for you” he said, I narrowed my eyes still curious, and suspicious.
