Hardin stared at June as his lips curled into a smile, he leaned forward and kissed her on the lips, as he withdrew from the kiss he was about to say something when his phone began to ring.

“Excuse me,” he said reaching for his phone as he picked up the call. “Yes,” he said waiting for the caller to speak, he remained silent listening before speaking, “Alright, I will be there soon,” he said disconnecting the call as he dropped his phone and started the car engine.

“What is the matter?” June asked wondering who he had been speaking to on the phone.

“They found out who bugged my phone and my car,” Hardin replied turning back on the road, he needed to get there to see them first and give them a piece of his mind before handing them over to the police.

“Oh, that’s good,” June said in a low voice, she was happy that they had found the person but she was looking forward to Hardin popping the question.
