Soo-Yun's Ex

Soo-Yun looked at the mirror and checked her last look before stepping out of the room. She went downstairs and passed by the living room. Jun-Sang was reading a newspaper while sipping his hot coffee. He secretly took a glance at Soo-Yun, who was talking on her phone with the Client. "Yeah, I will be there, Mrs. Kim. Don't worry. You will win this care." She gave some hope and positive comments to Mr. Kim just to cheer her up. Soo-Yun glanced at Jun-Sang as she felt the powerful gaze of someone on her. He immediately looked away as their eyes met for a second. Soo-Yun rolled her eyes and sighed. "I hope I win this case. There is no way to prove Mrs. Kim's son is innocent." She hoped and was about to leave, but stopped at her track as Jun-Sang called her. “You need to eat your breakfast first if you want to be active in your work." He said out of blue, making her frown her eyebrow. She chuckled at his sudden caring behaviour. Soo-Yun was about to go out, saying nothing, but Jun-Sang held her hand, making her stop. "I said something to you, Soo-Yun." He tightened his grip on her wrist. She became annoyed and jerked Jun-Sang's hand away. "Mind on your business, Mr. Jang Jun-Sang." She said angrily and went out.

He sighed and also left the house, eating nothing. A car stopped in front of their house. Jun-Sang narrowed his eyes for perfect vision. His eyes widened as he saw Moon Sang-Woon come out of the car and open the car door for Soo-Yun. His hand turned his hand in a fist, gritted his teeth, and drove away furiously. Soo-Yun flinched a little as Jun-Sang's car passed by them at speed. "What's wrong with him?" She whispered in her breath and hopped into the car. After that, Sang-Woon started his car and drove away.

Jun-Sang entered his office, he was panting heavily because of anger. Jun-Sang loosened his tie and tried to catch some breath, but it wasn't used. He put his hand on the table, the memories of the past recalling in his mind. Jun-Sang took a vase from the desk and slammed it on the floor. He sat on the seat and rested his head on it. Jun-Sang closed his eyes and massaged his temple.

Flash Back.

Soo-Yun was sitting with Jun-Sang. They were talking about random things which they usually do after the class. "Hey, you know a few days ago I met a guy when I was late for my class?" She asked, and Jun-Sang nodded. "He is our senior. I think I have a crush on him." Soo-Yun became shy, which made Jun-Sang disgusted. "You have no taste Soo-Yun." He said and was about to go. She held his hand to stop him. He glanced at her and let out his hand to her grip. "What happened? Why do you always behave like that?" She questioned him, but Jun-Sang left her.

Soo-Yun opened her eyes as a flashback of the past ended. Her lips were covered with a sad smile and pain was visible. Sang-Woon noticed something weird in her smile. He tried to hold her hand but stopped as he gazed at the wedding ring on her finger, showing that she didn't belong to him anymore. Sang-Woon chuckled and focused his eyes on the road. After a few moments, they reached the court. She stepped out of the car and sighed.

Jun-Sang smiled while looking at Soo-Yun and his old picture, which they took when they were in high school. He caressed her face with his thumb. "You think I am heartless? I care about you, Soo-Yun, and I will always care for you. You are my first always." Jun-Sang said a tear rolled down, making him let out a sigh of pain. Jun-Sang's eyes widened. He checked his phone and there were few messages from Haneul. "Why is she texting me now?" He checked her messages and sighed." Why are you doing this to me, Haneul?" Jun-Sang took his car keys and went out of the office.

Meanwhile, Soo-Yun stepped out of the court with a disappointed look on her face. She sighed. Soo-Yun knew she messed up very badly. She lost her case because of her irresponsibility. Mr. Kim came to her and patted her back. "It's okay, at least you fight till the end Soo-Yun." Mrs. Kim smiled at her husband's state. Soo-Yun nodded at them and left them alone.

"Why do you want to meet me?" Jun-Sang said coldly. She smiled and held his hand. Haneul caressed his hand, and she felt something. Her gaze landed on his wedding ring. Haneul smiled and glanced back at Jun-Sang, who was staring at her emotionlessly. "I missed you, Jun-Sang. That's why I wanted to meet you." Haneul said with teary eyes. Jun-Sang passed her a tissue box. She took out one tissue paper and glanced at him again. "I am married now. Soo-Yun is my wife now." He reminded her straight at Haneul's face with no regret. "So she was the one always." She chuckled and looked away. Jun-Sang looked at his mobile and checked the time. It was already twenty past eight. He stood up and left her alone.

Soo-Yun was talking to the bartender about what happened in the court. She was talking shits continuously, making him groan in annoyance. Sang-Woon ran to her and checked her head to toe. He sighed in relief, finding her all fine. "What's wrong with you Soo-Yun?" He asked her softly while caressing her cheeks. She pouted and burst out. Soo-Yun was crying massively. Sang-Woon patted her back and tried to comfort her. She was sobbing harder and caught everyone's attention around her. "It is okay babe, you can share with me what happened to you," Sang-Woon asked her politely.

Jun-Sang parked his car in the garage and stepped out. He entered and sighed in relief as he reached home. "Where is she?" Jun-Sang murmured. He went to her room to check if Soo-Yun was okay or not. Jun-Sang frowned as he didn't see her there. He ran to the kitchen. "Where is she?" He asked the maid who was cooking. "Mr. Jang who?" She questioned without thinking, which made Jun-Sang angry. "SOO-YUN, MY WIFE," Jun-Sang yelled, and the maid flinched a little. "S-she is not back yet." She uttered. He nodded and left. "Where are you, Soo-Yun? Why do you always make me worry?" Jun-Sang started getting worried about her. He called her many times, but Soo-Yun's phone was switched off. Suddenly, he got a message from his assistant and he checked it immediately. Jun-Sang's eyebrows frowned as he saw Soo-Yun's drinking. He shook his head and took his car keys out of the pocket and went to chase her.

"Soo-Yun, why are you doing this to me?" He rolled his eyes while driving, and after a few minutes, he reached the club. Jun-Sang entered the club. He gritted his teeth as Jun-Sang saw Sang-Woon comforting his wife.

His one hand was on Soo-Yun's cheek and the other one was on her waist. Jun-Sang felt disgusted because Sang-Woon touched on his wife. Jun-Sang rushed to them and pushed Sang-Woon away from Soo-Yun. "Stay away from MY WIFE." He yelled the last word to make sure Soo-Yun now belonged to him. "Stay away from her. I am here now, and I can take care of my wife." Jun-Sang said while gritting his teeth. Meanwhile, Soo-Yun was sitting there and staring at him lovingly. He turned his gaze on his wife, who was fully drunk, hiccuping. Jun-Sang's eyes softened as his gaze met Soo-Yun's. She giggled like a kid, making both hearts pound. Sang-Woon smiled at her stage. He loved her being herself after a long time. That was not the first time he was seeing her like that. 

Jun-Sang smiled. It was the first time he was seeing her like that, which was making him stare at her. "You look so cute when you get angry, you know?" She said and pinched his cheeks. Sang-Woon's heart clenched, glancing at them. He understood he was the third person here. Sang-Woon smiled and left the bar. Soo-Yun smiled cutely at Jun-Sang, who was lost in her. "You hiccup look hiccup SO CuTe.." she said while hiccuping, making him giggle. "Let's go home. You are too drunk." He patted her head. Soo-Yun pouted. "No, I WaNnA StAy HeRe." She denied as the drink worked on her. He shook his head and took her in his arms. "If you don't wanna go, I will make you." He said, while adjusting her position. "Nooooo." Soo-Yun whined and tried to get out of his grip. "You can't stop trying." Jun-Sang said in his deep voice, making her gulp.

Sang-Woon sighed as he came out. "Soo-Yun, do you really love me?" A question hit on his mind, making him sad in some way. "The way you looked at him, the way you smiled at him. The way you talked to him. Can I be him?" Sang-Woon closed his eyes and smiled. "Why me? Why are you not mine?" He slammed his hand on the car's steering wheel. He started his car and drove away.

"Sit here quietly and don't move." Jun-Sang warned her. Soo-Yun nodded her head immediately in agreement. She sighed and went inside to take her stuff. Soo-Yun glanced everywhere and pouted. "He is so bad. Why did he leave me here alone?" She started crying.
