Catelyn's eyes dimmed. She now understood why Grandma developed such a deep hatred toward the Masons.

If she was in Old Madam Atherton's shoes, and if someone were to use her to frame her father and leave her after a miscarriage, she would probably not let this go for the rest of her life.

Catelyn suddenly held Cedrick's hand. "Let's work together and let grandma know that you're different from Grandpa Mason. I'm sure she would bless us then," she said.
