"It hurts… It hurts!" howled Maia.

Despite this, however, no one at the scene believed her nonsense.

Eason pulled Richard up from the edge.

Being saved from a near-death experience, he stared straight at Maia with a blank face as if she was the most heartless woman he had ever seen.

Worried about tearing his wound, Cedrick stretched out his arms from behind and embraced her domineeringly.

The wound did show signs of tearing because of his actions, but Cedrick stubbornly leaned close to Catelyn's ear and bit her earlobe.
