After a few seconds, Catelyn hung the wishing stick on the tree. There was a small bell attached to the wishing stick. The small bell collided with another bell next to it and made a crisp ringing sound.

Cedrick walked halfway around the tree and surveyed each wishing stick. He had a casual look on his face. It was hard to tell if he'd noticed Catelyn's wishing stick.

"Okay. Let's get back to the priest's speech." Catelyn pulled him back into the crowd.

Cedrick suddenly gripped her slender hand in his and interlocked his fingers with hers.

Catelyn looked at him in surprise.

He gazed at her with deep eyes and said, "I swore I would love only you in my life. Neither poverty, nor sickness, nor death can separate us."

Catelyn's heart flipped.

"I want you to know that I'm here for you no matter what happens. I want you to believe in me more than anything.
