I remain silent, letting the weight of the conversation settle on Dolton. I haven’t really thought about how our relationship would evolve, but I know it’s possible. My past before Sebastian, before he saved me, was filled with complexities—relationships with multiple men, sometimes all at once. It was a life I knew, a part of me that I had accepted long ago.
