Rhys POV

“Why is Mara's mind blocking me? I refused to make eye contact with black.

I was swaying slightly where I was standing, my pulse rate was high.

“What advice do I have from you?” I asked black to shift my weight from one foot to the other.

“I suggest you give her a visit, then ask her why she is mind blocking you?” He replied, struggling a shoulder.

With a swift, I left the office straight to her room.

I took large strides to her room, hoping to meet her inside. My pace was fast, and before I knew it, I was already in front of her door.
