Morrigan’s POV I’m desperate to get this meeting over with and be gone. Selena and Artemis have agreed to accompany me to my father’s court. We’re greeted with a formal procession. At first, I tried to be civil and patient. After the first little bit I lose all civility and storm past the ridiculous parade. I’m here for a conversation, not fucking show and tell. Michelle’s POV We’re heading down the steps towards breakfast when I hear far too many voices for comfort. Leo senses my discomfort and holds me closer. “It’s okay my love, they’re all family”. Emma’s POV Rounding up these royal A holes into the kitchen, I grab the nearest spatula and aim for Leo’s big head. Strike one, success. “Ow! Dammit Em, that hurt. What was that for?”. Liam’s POV Looking over at my beautiful Emma, I notice for the umpteenth time she’s scratching at her forehead and hairline. “Why do you keep scratching your face, love?”. She starts rubbing, “I’m not sure but it keeps burning and itching. Are there any dots or anything?”. Liam’s POV “Kalen, what’s going on with you buddy? Why now, where have you been?”. He hasn’t left me since age 13. He is so on edge and really worried about Emma, it’s freaking me out. Morrigan’s POV Entering Selene’s realm, I feel entirely different. “Selene, will I ever be able to return here?”. She turns to me, taking my hand. “Typically my wolves do not have access to me, no. However, Emma is my own blood and you have always been my sister so you two have a direct link and may visit any time. Ruth’s POV We’ve been rushing around this tent all day and my feet are killing me. Dana has been super grumpy so I’ve been desperately trying to stay out of her way. Mom had to go with Emma to the hospital which has me worried. Suddenly my phone buzzes, “hey mom, is she ok?”. “Yeah, she’s fine. Zak’s POV The minute I realized Dana was in heat, I went into panic mode. We have over a hundred unmated wolves in the territory and most are warriors. That scent can travel several miles.
