Irina 

Alonzo tried to stop me from covering my face by gently tugging my palm off my face. 

"Show me your pretty face, will you, baby?"

I groaned and squirmed to tell Alonzo that I didn't want to. I'm embarrassed to show him my face. 

"It's okay," Alonzo assured me. 

"No, it's not. I said awful things to you. I assumed. I called you a cheater. I was cursing you in my head for days. I hated you. I even wanted to divorce you." 

"About that. You're not going to divorce me right? I already shredded the divorce paper that you sent to my office anyway," he said. 

"You did? When did you shred it?" 

"The day I get my hands on it. I didn't even bother myself to read it. I'm not going to divorce you, Irina." Confusion slammed through me. I tilted my head as I stared at him.

"But you have to? We have to divorce each other after a year. We have a contract. It's stated in that contract that we will have a divorce
