“Ooh! Hunter! It Hurts!”

“Sweetheart! Just let it slide more, then it would be all good… I promise!”

“I don’t think I would ever be able to walk after this.” Abigail groaned.

“Abigail! It was your decision. Remember?” he tried to be stern without succeeding much.

“But I never knew it would be a little painful.” She complained

“Don’t worry about that I will help you.” He was trying to be helpful as always.

“Hunter, please take it out ….  And please would you stop moving it any further.” She whimpered in pain, “Ouch.”

“Abigail! Sugar! It hurts because you are not used to it.”

He said gently while inspecting the sandals on her feet. “By the way, it looks good.” He smiled. “If you think it’s not comfortable enough then we can try something else. But the only problem with

People were having the time of their lives. After the meal, the music started at a very slow pace giving a calm effect. Hunter held her hand and took her to the dance floor. Taking a mic in his other hand he started speaking“I hope you all liked the meal. Before starting my first dance with my wife, I would like to give her the wedding gift.”Abigail was completely unaware, of what he was talking about. Though her heart did flutter on his words ‘My Wife’. She was also feeling a little self-conscious because of so many eyes glued to her.Hunter knew how to grasp his audience's attention. She, on the other hand, could not handle a compliment well. Thanks to Hunter for holding her hand so firmly throughout, otherwise she might have stumbled.“Ever since I came into the business, and that too since a very young age. I had been living in hotels. No matter whether I go on a business trip or I am in my home town. It was

After the dance, he scooped her up in his arms and started walking towards the residential block. “Hey, Hunter! Put me down.”She looked around in embarrassment. People were still celebrating, moreover, she wanted to say hi to Molly and Geena before leaving. And yes Granma and Pa too.“Let me bid them farewell properly. As a host, I should do it. And all this mess in our lawns. Who would take care of it.”Her ‘our lawns’ made him smile.“Don’t worry, honey. They all are grownups. They would survive without their hosts. Leave everything to house help. They would look after it.” He kept walking taking long strides. “You just relax.”Abigail did. She nuzzled her nose in his chest, entangling her arms around his neck. Her eyes were closed. Now he was taking stairs, he stopped before a door on the first floor and opened it with great ease, with Abi still in his arms.

Today was a very hectic day. When he entered the apartment, he found a pile of clothes lying around his feet. He picked that up and threw it in the hamper. The kitchen counter was still occupied with dirty dishes. It was as dirtier as he had left in the morning. He usually tried his best to make it spotless before leaving for work. In the bedroom, Chloe was watching a movie, her mouth was stuffed with cheese burger.Seeing Kyle entering the room, she tried to gulp it down with the wine.“Alcohol is not good for the baby.” He remarked casually because he did not have much energy to pick a fight with her.“Sorry.” She muttered and unexpectedly put back the glass on the nightstand. He had always been an active participant in home chores. Doing it with Abigail used to be fun. No matter how much tired they used to be. After returning from work they used to get it done within one hour. But right now, he felt so lethargic. H

She literally wanted to cry … No! She wanted to scream at the top of her lungs! Why God why? Someone knocked on the door for a second time. And she knew that someone was none other than Hunter. “What?” She almost screamed. “Sweetheart! You are taking too long in there. Is everything alright?” When they landed there last evening, it was dark. From the airport, they headed to the hotel. When they got off she was surprised to read the display ‘Sapphire Galaxy Resorts’. “What is it doing here?” Hunter eyed her tired face, “It followed us. Attachment phobia!” “Ha-ha. Very funny.” She mocked him but it felt good. Sapphire Galaxy was slowly becoming part of her, she realized. They were taken to a furnished cottage. Even at night, it was too beautiful to ignore. “I did not know that you own a resort here!” “WE! We own a resort here!” Her heart skipped a beat. Ever since they got married he w

Emerald woke up by stretching herself and turned her head sideways. Rafael was still sleeping like a baby with his mouth partially opened. She could see one or two strands of white hair in his subtle beard and she swore he was becoming more handsome with each passing day.Shifting closer to him, she sniffed that familiar perfume. God! She always acted like a creep when he was around.“I can never get enough of you.” She whispered in his ear making him stir in his sleep.“Harika?” He called her huskily snaking his arm around her na*ked body and pulling her to him.“Interested in a bath?” She asked his sleepy face, smiling slyly to herself.“Really?” This time his eyes opened widely.“Yup!” Kissing his cheek, she jumped out of bed when he held her hand hurriedly, “Let me do it for you, Guzel.”“You do it every Sunday, Askim. Let me do it for today.” She bent down to kiss his forehead but was sprawled on him when he not only made her stumble upon him but also rolled over taking her with

Heavens!” She closed her eyes in ecstasy.“You like it?” He asked her.“I love it, papa.” She opened her eyes and a smile gleamed on her lips. Her smile resembled a lot like her mom’s. She had taken that smile and black hair from Julia. That was the reason Emerald dyed her hair black many years back. The familiar smile still gave him pain.“Do you miss mom?” She asked him with concern showing in her eyes. The way she used to care about others showed a lot about how she was brought up by an amazing woman and man.“I used to. But now I think I have gotten over her.”“Once I will be eighteen, I am planning to visit her in Turkey.” Her statement made Robert snap up his head.“I don’t think Emerald and Rafael ever stopped you from meeting her. You just need to let them know.”“I know, papa. It’s just something I need to do on my own. Grandma shares her pictures

“Oh, Gosh! Emerald! Wake up. It’s your wedding day.” Emerald had a pillow on her face when she heard Abi’s voice. “What? It’s already morning?” She asked herself and moved the pillow away from her face. “Look at you. The girl who had insomnia can now sleep nonstop.” Emerald got up yawning. Abigail was constantly talking without taking a break, “Come on, Em. Rise and shine.” She drew the curtains, allowing the room to bathe in sunlight. “Go and take shower. I will send a protein packed breakfast to the room. After that, you are supposed to wear your undergarments and petticoat. And yes…” Abigail was already stepping out, “Don’t forget to put on those bandelettes.” She winked before closing the door behind her. Emerald let out a panicked sigh and ran to the bathroom. Last night she stayed in the guest room of her house. Selina was already taking care of Sophie. After applying scented lotion all over her body, she came out in a bathing gown. it seemed like Abigail was waiting for her

Her daughter had started thinking along these lines. Was she getting insecure? Possessive?“Sophie? I am making breakfast for both of us!” telling him softly she went out of the room feeling all emotional. The way his hand wanted her was something too sweet to handle. When he came out all fresh and showered, she was placing the plates on the counter along with steaming coffee mugs. “Breakfast is ready and you need to…” She stopped when she saw him leaning against the counter in only a pair of shorts. His body was still glistening due to the shower he just took. Woah! When her flight landed in San Francisco, Patricia looked out of the window while stretching herself. Her favorite, warm and sunny San Francisco. The same one which she left last time in rage. And in pain. In that annual dinner, Rafael Wyatt did not even try to steal a glance her way. He seemed so uptight sitting there with Hunter and Abigail at the party. No matter how many times Abi tried to introduce them or tried to talk to him about their common interests he did not even budge. But he was a changed man on the screen when Emerald went to him at his movie celebration party and talked to him. He had this se*xy smile on his lips when he pulled her on the stage. Emerald must be hardly one year younger than her but her parents never treated her well. There was some old siblings’ rivalry with Cassandra but her parents always supported Cassie. Patricia loved her energy. After collecting her luggage, Patricia was pushing the trolley to the exit, observing different people at the airpo
