JENNA POV

I had barely slept. My thoughts kept racing all night. I turned over in bed, reaching out for Keith, but his side was empty and cold. Suddenly, I remembered where I was and a pang of loneliness hit me. I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.

Today was going to be tough.

I got up and headed for the bathroom to splash some water on my face. I stared at my reflection in the mirror, the dark circles under my eyes a testament to my sleepless night. "Pull yourself together," I whispered to myself.

As I headed downstairs, I heard voices in the living room. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs, listening. Big Mama was talking to Nicola, their conversation hushed but intense.

"Keith won't be able to resist her," Big Mama was saying. "Laura is his Achilles' heel. He'll be back to his old self in no time."
