JENNA POV

Soft morning light filtered through sheer, cream-coloured curtains, casting a warm glow over the opulent room. I stirred, feeling the silk sheets against my skin and the plushness of the mattress beneath me.

I stretched luxuriously, a smile playing on my lips, enjoying the unfamiliar comfort. My eyes fluttered open, taking in the high, intricately carved ceiling above me.

The chandelier, adorned with crystal droplets, sparkled in the morning light.

And then boom! Confusion washed over me and I bolted upright, clutching the satin sheets to my chest, my heart pounding.

This wasn’t my bedroom. The bed I was in was enormous, surrounded by ornate, antique furniture. A grand vanity stood across the room, it is surface cluttered with elegant bottles of perfume and exquisite jewellery.

My gaze darted around the room. To my left, a door led to what appeared to be a luxurious en-suite bathroom, the marble floor gleaming and the fixtures gleaming gold.
