Chapter 05

The study was brightly lit.

A man was sitting at the main desk. Beneath his white sleeve, he wore an exquisite watch that matched his manly demeanor.

Lowering his head while reading his documents, he had defined facial features with a pronounced jawline.

After he flipped through a page, he said— “Check to see if Kimberly is ready for her doctor’s appointment” he said to the butler.

The butler bowed his head and said respectfully, "Yes Mr.Stone”

But then, Kimberly came walking down the steps dressed in a proper and elegant dress. He ordered a full closet for her early this morning and all the dress fits.

The butler bowed for the last time before leaving.

“It should fit, it’s the same size after all,” he said.

“Same size? Of... your girlfriend? Ex-lover?” She asked.

Stone looked at her searchingly for a while, just her face and he looks so expressionless.

Kim starts to pick her fingers feeling so nervous and scared. She could only react to emotions but this strange Billionaire wears no expression so there was absolutely nothing to react to.

“You don’t get to ask me questions, “ he said to her.

Later, they proceeded to the hospital. They were received warmly when they arrived at the hospital.

Two nurses guide Kim to the test room where they examined her and injected her twice.

She winced in pain as the syringe pieced through her soft skin.

After a few minutes, she went back to join Mr.Stone at the doctor’s office.

“She is not pregnant Mr.Stone,” he said to him.

“Thank you, Mr.Dean,” he said and the doctor bowed to him.

On getting to the car outside, he asked Kimberly not to enter the car.

“I have to go somewhere urgent, wait for the car that I have called for you,” he said to her.

But it’s a wet grey morning and the sky looks as if it would rain.

Kimberly shivers as the harsh wind made contact with the hair on her skin and they stood up.

She watched as his car left the hospital and she waited around so the car can easily find her.

Unfavorably, the rain starts outing down heavily and she was drenched. 

She stood for hours and had to go hide somewhere because of the heavy rain.

Her phone was in the car that left so she wasn’t able to call anyone to come to get her. She has only one friend but ever since she got busy with a series of part-time jobs, they didn’t have time to catch up. 

Around 4 in the evening, the rain ceased to drizzle and the car arrived.

The driver raised an umbrella over her head and opened the door for her.

“I’m so sorry ma’am, “ he said to her.

On getting home, she saw the maids already leaving for the other mansion in the large villa and surprisingly they bowed for her before leaving.

She bowed slightly for them as well but the butler asked her not to.

Rose followed last before the Butler closed the door.

“Your food is served already,” he said to her before going to his side of the house.

Kimberly went to the bathroom first to use the hot water. It helped with the cold and after drying her hair, she came back downstairs to eat.

She took her first bite of the steak and tears trickled down her face, she wondered why Mr.Stone was being so hard on her. 

She was so sad and lonely so she went to the bar stand to get a drink. She’s not a good drinker but she opened the bottle anyway.

When she was drunk, she started cursing Mr.Stone’s name and crying.

Just then, the door flung open to reveal the devil right outside the entrance.

The lightning that spanned outside in the sky made him look scarier.

The bottle of wine fell from Kimberly’s hand as she gasp in fear. The room was filled with the smell of alcohol.

Kimberly stood transfixed with a flushed complexion and when she tried to move, she fell on the chair while cursing under her breath, she would occasionally mention Stone’s name.

She was in a mess.

A trace of displeasure flashed across Stone’s face.

Did she finally reveal her true colors after punishing her today?

Hearing the sound of the door closed, Kim struggles to sit up.

"Who are you?"

She was so drunk that she had completely lost her senses. When she noticed someone coming in from the door, she stood up to welcome him.

It was a handsome man. He had broad shoulders and a fine face.

She took careless steps but Stone was fast enough to catch her from falling, she purred.

Mr.Stone’s eyes were filled with rage as he said, "Just how much did you drink?"

Her body was weak and unstable. When he loosened his hold on her for a bit, she staggered and fell to the ground. "I didn't drink..."

Then, she threw herself at him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Why are you so hard on me Mr.Stone?" With her cheeks flushed red, Kimberly said to Stone puppy-faced, "Please don't think that I'm a dirty woman. I didn't do it on purpose..." She whined.

Stone frowned.

His face dropped as he looked at Kimberly, who was hugging his waist. She looked adorable.

He reached out and carried her in his arms. Then, he walked upstairs.

In the bathroom upstairs, Kimberly forgot to drain the hot water she used to bathe, and now the water was extremely cold.

"Splash!"

Kimberly was thrown into the bathtub.

When she got into the water, her white T-shirt adhered to her body, which revealed her slim and attractive figure.

Even though the bathtub was filled with cold water, Stone felt a rush of heat when he laid eyes on her body.

Her hard nipple stretched under the transparent shirt.

He knew he was not supposed to feel this way with her.

He loathes her with great passion from the moment he set eyes on her... TBC
