Chapter 2 What the Hell Is Going On?

The night wind blew the white curtains gently, bringing in the cool breeze.

In the darkroom, the floor was littered with clothes.

Elizabeth Liang felt awful and dizzy, and she could feel him kissing her the whole time.

When she couldn't take anymore, he finally fell asleep, with her in his arms.

When Elizabeth woke up, she was snuggling against the man's chest with her head resting on his powerful arm. She could feel that neither of them were wearing anything.

Her heart jumped and she tried to recall in a panic what had happened last night. Turns out, what happened last night was all real, it wasn't a dream, she had really become Theodore Chao's and spent the night with him.

Realizing this, Elizabeth frowned. Although Theodore had mentioned that he wanted to be with her, he had never asked again after she righteously declared she has to wait until the wedding night.

But last night, he...

She passed out last night from exhaustion with no chance to wash up, and now it feels sticky and uncomfortable down there, so she decided to clean herself.

"Ugh—" As soon as Elizabeth moved, she couldn't help but let out a soft groan.

Her body was sore and painful all over, even raising her hand felt like a challenge. The burning discomfort was especially intense under there, as if her body was torn apart by force.

The man woke up from his shallow sleep because of her quiet groan, he pulled her in to leave a good morning kiss on her forehead.

"Morning, sleepyhead?" The deep male voice spoke with a distinct hoarseness from just waking up, and it sounded indescribably seductive and pleasant. "Does it still hurt?"

Elizabeth, who was still worried about having premarital sex, softened her heart at the tenderness and concern in his tone.

"Theodore, didn't you promise to wait until we got married..." As she said this, she raised her head. "Oh my god—who are you!"

Elizabeth widened her eyes in horror. Looking at the man in front of her, she pushed him away and sat up holding the quilt tightly around her body, ignoring the pain all over her. Her exhausted body couldn't help but tremble from the shock.

James Lu drank way too much yesterday, and he was tired from last night. But after Elizabeth's startling movements, his blurry eyes immediately cleared up.

Looking at the unfamiliar and panicked woman wrapping up her body, he narrowed his eyes. What is going on?

He tries to recall what had happened last night in detail. He drank because he was stood up, and in his drunken state he seemed to have heard someone knocking on the door, and then... he saw the woman who had stood him up come back...

Then...

Speechless, James took a breath. Not only was he stood up, but he also ended up sleeping with another woman. What the hell is going on?

"How did you come here?" He frowned and sat up.

Elizabeth looked at his movements and trembled again. This time, she did not say anything. She wrapped herself in the quilt and jumped out of bed.

Once the tip of her toes touched the ground, her sore legs almost made her fall over. She gritted her teeth and forced herself to stand. Then she hastily grabbed her clothes off the ground, rushed into the bathroom, and locked the door.

James looked at the panicked little woman running to the bathroom and frowned.

She took away the quilt, which meant that he was covered by absolutely nothing.

When he got out of bed, he accidentally caught sight of some bloodstain on the white sheets. He rubbed his forehead in frustration.

Did he... sleep with a virgin?
