Chapter 5

  It was a sunny Friday afternoon as cercei and mirabel stepped into their classroom and they both noticed the curious look their classmates gave them and miabel gave cercei a stern look as she settled on the nearest available seat and ce sat right beside her.

  

  

  The lecturer stepped into the class in no time and the lecture started, the lecture seemed boring as half of the started yawning and  giving the lecturer a heavy eyed look.

  

  “I feel dizzy,I want this class to be over already,” cercei whispered to mirabel with her face looking as drowsy as ever.

  

  “We will be done in no time baby, endure a little bit more.” Mirabel replied, smiling softly with her chin looking plumpy and beautiful as always. 

  

   ”Have a nice day class.” the lecturer said as he headed out of the class. 

  

  Half of the class immediately jerked up their chair in gladness after he stepped out, while the rest stretched their arms and yawned loudly! .

  

  “That was a really boring lecture, I doubt I grabbed anything.”  Cercei said to Mirabel as she stood up and moved close to her.

  “Yes it was .” Mirabel replied as she reached out for cercei’s hands, she held her hands and pressed them softly against hers, “you have seductive hands baby,maybe that’s why heee—-“ .

  

  “Cut it out !!” Cercei smirked as she jerked Mirabel's hands off hers and her cheeks turned all red .

  “Your face!, you like him don’t you?” Mirabel asked playfully as she reached out for cercei’s hand but this time she folded her arms tightly beneath her boobs and refused to release her hands to avoid another expensive tease from her best friend.

  

  “I don’tstop it right now. Would you?” Cercei replied, giving Mirabel a stern look.

  

  “Hahahaha——“ Mirabel laughed out loud as she stood up and hugged cercei.

   

  Mirabel’s phone rings

  

  “Hey baby, how are you doing?” Mirabel said immediately she answered her call . Tommy is the only one that can make Mirabel blush this much over a phone call.

  “Tommy  right?”  cercei said giving her an assurance look and mirabel nodded. 

  

  “Okay I’m coming right away” Mirabel said and hung up then started parking her books into her bags preparing to take her leave.

  

  “Are we going home?” Cercei asked her best friend inquisitively.

  

  “No,you gotta sleep alone today because I’m going to meet my boyfriend, he asked me to meet him outside the school premises. I'll come home tomorrow or probably on sunday.” Mirabel replied smiling as her cheeks turned red.

  

  “Oh no! I’ll miss you too much, must you go? Come on! Stay home with me.” cercei said persuading her best friend to stay with her at home.

  

  “Oh no , you forgot I have some investigating to do about your kiss man?  Sandra is his sister, remember?   He would give me all the information I need , I’m doing all I’m doing with your best interest at heart.” Mirabel said with so much heedfulness.

  

  “Okay, that’s true, “ cercei replied, smiling and pressing her lips against each other.

  

  “Take good care of yourself then, I'll miss you so much,” Cercei added as she sat back in her seat and watched Mirabel prepare to leave.

  

  “Muah. I'll call you,take care.” Mirabel perked her best friend and headed towards the entrance of the class. She looked back and they both waved at each other.

  

  Cercei sat in her seat and started processing who this stranger she had kissed twice could be and why he had to be at the party she was at a few days ago and why he had to kiss her there. “Sighs” cercei sighed as she stood up to pack her books in her bag and head home.

  

  “She is the one, yes she snatched her man,”  “she is dating the billionaire,”  “she isn’t even too pretty.”  “She is lucky.”  “She doesn’t deserve him,”  “she is beautiful,”  “her shape is fine.”  “She stole somebody’s man.”  “I don’t even like her,”  “ she is too full of herself”  “I hate her.”  “I wish I can be her friend.” 

  

  Cercei heard different girls whisper to each other as she walked through the school premises . Cercei was ashamed of herself for a moment and decided to stop off at a cafe and rest for a moment to process all she heard the students whispering to each other a few moments ago.

  

  She sat down on a free seat and faced the floor, cercei got furious, she placed her one of her hand over her jaw and placed her hand on her laps.  Cercei thought of how and why this kind of news is spreading round the school.

  

  “Who is he? I’m suddenly becoming popular in this school for a reason that is extremely absurd,” cercei said as quietly as she could to avoid being heard by anyone.

  

  So many kind of thought ran through cercei’s brain as she say helplessly in the cafe and wondered why so many students kept staring at her like she is a ghost or like she wore the wrong side of her cloth or she stinks or something more worse.

  

  “Hiiii——, why are you here?” The first thing she saw was his two huge arms placed on the table in front of her, his quite familiar voice ,she looked up and it was her ex boyfriend.

  

  “Oh hi, what do you want?”  she replied and tried to keep a stern look when she was surprised to see him at this point in time or ever have him walk up to her to speak to her.

  

  “So you are really dating him? And y’all are going about kissing each other,”. He asked immediately, staring angrily directly into her eyeballs .

  

  “Yes I am dating him, why do I need permission from you on where I can kiss my man or how to run my life?”  She fired back immediately with the aim of getting him more jealous and angry , she saw the pained look he gave in return and gave a sigh of satisfaction.     “You don’t deserve me or know my worth, it's only right that I allow someone who does,  treat me right.” Cercei added and gave a satisfactory look.

  

  “You ,you,you———“ he said as she walked away angrily.

  

  Cercei was comfortable with all that just transpired between them, she was able to get him real jealous again but without kissing any man this time. She smiled genuinely from within and held her waist .

  

  “She is the one, she moved on so fast , she looks happy with him,she looks pretty,I want to be her friend.”  Cercei heard as she looked up and gave a glimpse at the table behind her that 3 ladies sat around it .  

  

  Apparently she knows she is in big trouble as the news of her being in a relationship with a total stranger is spreading faster than she could ever imagine in her life, getting used to this lifestyle of being noticed as she walks through the school premises is not something that she has ever thought could happen in her entire life. 

  

  Currently she is having mixed emotions, in between happy and sad.   Happy because she has made her ex infuriated and pained yet again but sad that the man almost all the whole school thinks she is in love with is a total stranger in her life that she doesn’t even know his name or where he is from or what he does.

  

  “Mira called him Aaron I guess” cercei said as she mumbled to herself in a very quiet but confused manner. 

  

  “So I have a date, yes I have a boyfriend and he is my man but a stranger!” Cercei mumbled to herself as she chuckled.

  

  She really hoped her best friend would try to get information about who her supposed man is so at least she can think straight and know abit about her acting boyfriend. Cercei has never had the kind of attention she got from the students today as she walked through the school premises. It was too awkward for her to bare and that’s why she is currently here and not in bed .

  

  What if he has committed a crime before or why is everyone looking at me like I committed a huge mistake, even if he is really my man, is it a crime to have a date or is it now a crime to be in love, why am I being judged and suddenly becoming famous like a relationship is now something banned.

  

  Cercei sat still on the seat and kept having a series of thoughts , she could only but keep a smiling face and try to be strong enough to walk outside the school and go home and wait unto her best friend, hopefully she brings good news and has finally gotten information about him.

  

  “I really can’t wait to have all these puzzles in my head solved,I need to understand what exactly I’m currently into, something I decided to start unknowingly.” cercei mumbled to herself and sighed.

  

  “Now I gotta be strong and keep my head high,stand up and walk straight out of this school without minding what anyhow behind me is saying, I gotta keep my shoulders strong and just walk like all is well.  I can do this!” She said to her determined self as she prepared to stand up and head straight out of the cafe and head to the school entrance .

  

  She stood up and knew where exactly she was heading to and focused solely on that, she felt like a queen as she walked and got so much attention as she could feel some students smiling at her while some smirked at her and gave her a disdainful look but she didn’t care, she suddenly started enjoying this mood instead of feeling awkward like she felt the other time. 

  

  She kept focusing on where she was going, ignoring everyone else's talks or looks, she felt like a newly reigning queen as she walked majestically out of the school. Boarded a taxi and headed straight home.

  

  “Ooofff what a day!!” She sighed and mumbled to herself as she sunk into the taxi seat.
