The Story of the Poor Princess (2)

She was 'forced' to enter into the fairy tale of her parents which was very tragic. At first, little Sena didn't understand what was going on with her family. She still looked at her parents with an innocent look without any suspicion. The woman introduces herself as Marrie Stella, her mother's friend who is currently struggling to find a place to live after being tricked by her colleague. Sena felt like she wanted to laugh at herself because at that moment, she felt sorry for Aunt Marrie. And in the end, it was Sena and her mother who should be pitied.

Once slapped by 'reality', Sena's perfect life instantly turns into a living hell. Her mother, who at first was still able to act calm, slowly began to lose control. Moreover, Aunt Marrie always acted as if she was innocent. Her affair with Sena's father only happened because of a sad 'coincidence'. She said that Sena's father had to do all this because he wanted to help her. Well, help your ass! Does helping someone have to be done by destroying others? What's more, the person you destroyed was someone who was very loyal by your side, willing to sacrifice everything just to be with you! And you pay for all the sacrifices by picking up trash that doesn't even care about the feelings of fellow women!. So, besides not believing in love, since then Sena also no longer believes in the phrase 'women support women'.

All the bad conditions in her house made Sena grow into a cold teenager who couldn't express her feelings well. She decided not to open her heart to anyone, even in terms of friendship. Then, just as she thought her life would continue in this miserable hell, a light suddenly appeared in front of her. The light is named Dira. An eccentric girl who is more skilled at using her muscles than her brain. Since meeting Dira, she has slowly begun to open up. Dira's stubbornness managed to melt Sena's heart. Then, after that, other miracles began to happen in her life. Her mother, who at first refused to let go of her father (despite how many hundreds of times Sena begged her to give up and leave that damn relationship) finally decided to give up and go to Paris.

Sena remembers how happy she was when she saw her mother, who just locked herself in her bedroom, crying and screaming suddenly came out of the room. Her previously disheveled and pale face became more colorful. She then hugged Sena while saying a sentence that Sena will never forget,

"Sorry dear, forgive my selfishness that has made you suffer."

It was a sentence that made a deep impression on Sena, and finally, after holding back for a long time, tears came to her eyes.

Yes, she wouldn't lie that she had suffered a lot over the past few years. She suffered so much that she often thought of running away from home, or even escaping from this world. Though all those thoughts vanished as soon as she saw her mother's face. She would never have the heart to leave her mother alone and rot in this place.

Their decision to leave the house provoked a drama. HER father did not agree if Sena went with hER mother. According to him, her mother was psychologically incapable of caring for Sena. In addition, her mother would not be able to support Sena with her financial condition. If Sena continues to live with him, Sena can live in luxury and get the best education. Sena's hand which was busy cutting the meat on her plate immediately stopped when she heard her father's question. It was clear from the tone of his voice, he expected Sena to answer 'Yes'. Sena did not immediately answer her father's question, only looked at his handsome face which was now starting to wrinkle. The last time Sena saw her father was when she left this house. After that, she decided to no longer have contact with her father.

In the past, her father had made several attempts to meet her in Paris to persuade her to come home. But of course Sena refused and avoided her father. Until one day, her father called in a hoarse voice, asking why Sena was being cruel to him. What had he done to make Sena act like this? And Sena calmly answered, didn't anyone tell him that a father is a daughter's first love? And showing betrayal in front of the child's eyes would surely destroy them. And the price for all that betrayal is: her heart and trust. 

"Hmm.. Maybe?"

Sena finally answered, even though the answer was actually more like a question.

"Really? Thanks god!"

She furrowed her brows as she saw a wide grin form on her father's face. Quickly she spoke again,

“But only until I find the best place to open my shop. One day? Well, maybe a day or so. I don't want to bother you two."

Her father's face suddenly turned sad when he heard Sena's words. It was as if what Sena had just said had hurt him deeply.

“You know Sena, auntie wishes you would stop making your father feel sad. You know how much your father loves you? There isn't a single day that goes by without thinking about you! He even always looks for information about you, asks all the household assistants to look after your room properly so you don't feel out of place when you return to this house. Oh lord! Auntie really doesn't know how to explain to you how much we both love you!"

Sena almost choked when she heard Aunt Marrie's frustrated and sad voice. Especially when fine wrinkles appeared on her forehead when Sena's father's hand gripped her. Then shook his head as if to signal Aunt Marrie to say nothing more. Wow! It seems Aunt Marrie's acting skills are getting better every day. Even Sena is sure that she can get the lead role in a family drama audition with her acting skills. Anyone who saw them right now would definitely think of Sena as the guilty party.

If the current one sitting in front of Aunt Marrie was Sena from a few years ago, maybe right now she would be hooked on Aunt Marrie's show. When she found out about Aunt Marrie's true rottenness, she doesn't know how many times she got into violent fights with that woman. Which of course ends with that woman's fake tears and Sena's father defense,

"Be patient Marrie, Sena just doesn't understand that you love her too much.."

And that damn sentence would only add to Sena's anger. However, as she grew older, Sena realized that serving that woman was a waste of energy. There were many other things she had to think about. So, instead of wasting energy on this dining table and sullying the innocent gaze of her half-sister who was still staring at them in confusion, she chose to head to her bedroom first and rest. She's trying to hold back her smile when she saw the faint disappointment in Aunt Marrie's eyes. Maybe she was hoping that Sena would make a scene like she used to. Even before walking away, Sena could see from the corner of her eye, how Aunt Marrie was biting her nails, a gesture she always made when she was annoyed.

As soon as she opened the door to her bedroom, Sena had to admit that what Aunt Marrie had said was true, everything was still the same as when she had left it. Sena touched all her neatly arranged items, one of which was a photo framed with small figura. The photo where she, her grandfather, mother and father are looking at the camera with their faces covered in wall paint, smiling broadly.

"Too bad, now it's impossible to have photos like this anymore, grandpa.."

Sena muttered softly while hugging the photo.

Not wanting to be sad for too long, she decided to immediately put down the photo and continue her activities. She has many things to do tomorrow, from finding the best shop to start her business, to accompanying her beloved best friend who will be attending someone's wedding tomorrow.

“Yup yup yup, tomorrow will be very busy, very busy..”

She said while humming happily.

The woman stared at the face of the man lying in front of her, for a long time, as if she was thinking about something heavy in her head. After quite a long time frozen in place, then she took out a syringe that had been filled with a liquid from under her dress.
