Chase saw Mrs Black glared at him in fury and resentment. He expected it to be so. He didn't mean to disrespect her this way by getting married to her daughter without her consent.

But the decision came so quickly and abruptly. He took advantage of her rejection by her family to tell the world that he loves her and intends to spend the rest of his life with her.

Mrs Pricillia hates him very much now and he knows it. But he's her son in-law now. He would make things right between them and get the daughter and mother reconciled together.

He owns the Black that debt. He swallowed hard and avoided Mrs Pricillia's gaze. His hand holding firmly to his wife, giving her that reassurance that he's there, by her side.

Rosalinda closed her eyes and her tears dropped. Chase noticed that she's sobbing, turned and glanced at her briefly before turning to Mrs Black.
