CHAPTER TWO

NATALIE'S POV

I woke to a painful banging in my head and I groaned. I lazily opened my eyes and from where I was on the bed, I could see the muscled back of a man. His back flexed as he did whatever it was tat he was doing.

'Most people have one night stands and wake up before the men so they can leave but you always have to be different,' Tania, my wolf mocked. I rolled my eyes weakly at her attempt to rile me up.

I lazily sat up and tried to balance myself on my feet but the soreness between my legs wouldn't let me. Now, I've had sex a lot of times but none of them have ever managed to render me unable to walk.

"We had sex last night?" I asked, even though I knew the answer to that. The man hummed the poured a glass of wine for himself.

"Can you feel your legs? No, can you stand?" he asked. Cocky bastard.

"Did you perhaps cum in me?" I asked him. He nodded then turned to face me and my breath hitched in my throat.

"You thought you were smart, didn't you, dear Natalie? Unfortunately for you, I have eyes everywhere. Am I that repulsive that you can't even fathom a life with me?" he inquired.

"Alpha Ace—" I began, still shocked. I was about to continue when I felt a hand wrap around my neck and I saw his black eyes stare coldly into mine.

"I need you to understand something, little one. We are going to get married in four days. It is sealed. You're mine now, gattina," he proclaimed. I shuddered as the magnitude of his words hit me. He let go of my neck and I glared at him.

"I obviously made a mistake last night. I was looking for a man. I wonder why I got a fucking boy!" I spat out. Ace smirked as he stared at me. He downed the last of his wine and moved closer to me. His body towered over me as he grabbed hold of my hair and pulled it back, forcing me to look at him.

"Don't worry, gattina. We'll revisit this topic soon. Probably when we're married and my head is between your legs," he said, casually. I opened my mouth to reply but was stopped by his mouth claiming mine.

"I'll take you to the bathroom. Seeing as I can't trust you to be a good little wolf and obey your future husband, I'll be leaving some guards behind to stay with you. Make sure you don't do anything funny, kitten. They'll report to me and I assure you, there will be consequences," he stated then picked me in his arms and carried me to the bathroom. He placed me inside the bathtub and left.

"Stupid Alpha," I murmured, glaring at the door he just left through. I soaked myself in the warm bath and by the time I was done, my legs felt better and I could walk.

I wore the clothes laid down for me on the bed and stepped out of the room, gripping my phone tightly. I began walking away when I noticed two bulky men following me. Turning around, I held my pepper spray close to their faces.

"What do you both want? Be careful, I have pepper spray. I also graduated top of my karate class. I'm a black belt and I can fight!" I stated. The men kept quiet and I pursed my lips. Okay?

"Calm down, gattina," a male voice said as strong arms pressed down on my shoulders. I whirled around to find the same annoying, stupid Alpha. Fucking Ace!

"Are you following me, Ache?" I asked, purposely calling him the wrong name.

"It's Ace, gattina. Tread carefully. And these are the guards I said would keep an eye on you for me," he said.

"I remember you saying something about guards but what I don't remember, is me giving you my approval. I don't need guards, Ache," I said, then turned around, slapping him in the face with my hair and walking away. I could practically feel the anger radiating off him but who cares!

I dialed a number on my phone and waited for the person to pick up the call.

"Yo, Nat, what's up?" Amelia asked. "How was it?"

"Guess who I slept with?"

"Who?" she asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"Ace." I said. Amelia gasped and I could hear shuffling from the other side of the phone.

"How? The same Ace you're gonna get married to?" she asked. I explained the whole thing to her then she was silent.

"What are you thinking, Amelia?" I asked her. She sighed and murmured some incoherent words before replying,

"Did he cum in you?" I froze.

"I'll get back to you later," I said then ran back to where Ace was but couldn't find him. I glanced at the bodyguards he had sent to follow me but I knew they wouldn't reply me. Fuck!

Arriving home, the first thing I did was look for my father. I found him in the kitchen with my mother. I ignored all formalities and went straight to the point.

"Father, I need Alpha Ace's number," I said, staring blankly at him. My father glanced at my mother who nodded at him. He handed me Ace's phone number without a word and I left. The relationship between my parents and I was strained. I couldn't care less about it though.

"Hello," I muttered into the phone.

"Gattina, you finally decided to call," Ace replied. I fiddled with my phone.

"I need to ask you something," I said.

"I'll send you a message. Let's meet there in an hour." then he cut the call. I glanced in shock at the phone. Why do we have to meet? Door just one question? At the same moment, my phone screen lit up and his message came in.

"I'm here," I murmured. He smirked at me as he beckoned for his guards to give us privacy.

"So what do you want to order?" he asked. I glared at him and went straight to the point.

"It's a simple question and I'm in a hurru; did you or did you not cum in me?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him. Ace's face went blank and he stared into my eyes.

"Manners, Natalie. You didn't even offer a greeting now you're just being disrespectful by not answering my question. Let's tackle things one at a time. Now, what do you want to order?"

I groaned.
