Giselle sat still with her green eyes trained on Ezra’s hazel ones. For the briefest of seconds her brain went numb, almost as if it was incapable of giving a suitable response to Ezra’s request.

Seconds had pasted before Giselle broke away from her statue like figure, blinking furiously as her mouth slowly opened as if she wanted to say something, then she closed it back, then repeated the same action a few more times.
